The Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa is a luxury hotel, casino, and spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States. It is owned by Marina District Development, a joint venture between Boyd Gaming and a divesture trust established by MGM Resorts International. The $1.1 billion casino hotel features 2,002 rooms and is the largest hotel in New Jersey. The Borgata opened in July 2003 as a Las Vegas-style megaresort and is the top-grossing casino in Atlantic City.
Atlantic City Rail Terminal
The Atlantic City Rail Terminal is Atlantic City, New Jersey's train station. It is the easternmost stop on the Atlantic City Line to and from Philadelphia. The station was also served by the Atlantic City Express Service (ACES) from 2009 until it was formally discontinued on March 9, 2012. The Atlantic City terminal is a 5-track, 3-platform terminal located inside of the Atlantic City Convention Center. The Atlantic City Line is a commuter train and runs daily all day.

The 1896 Atlantic City rail crash occurred soon after 6:30 pm on July 30, 1896 at a crossing just west of Atlantic City, New Jersey, crushing five loaded passenger coaches, killing 50 people and seriously injuring approximately 60.

MGM Grand Atlantic City
MGM Grand Atlantic City was a planned resort casino by MGM Mirage in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It was to be located on 72 acres of land between the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa (which MGM Mirage owns 50%) and Harrah's Atlantic City. Announcing the resort in October 2007, MGM Mirage estimated the construction would "have a budget in the $4.5-$5 billion range", with ground to be broken in 2008 and the hotel to open in 2012.

The 1906 Atlantic City train wreck happened in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Sunday October 28, 1906, when a West Jersey and Seashore Railroad electric train fell off a draw (swing) bridge, drowning 53 people.
