Bloomfield Township, Oakland County, Michigan

Bloomfield Township, known officially as The Charter Township of Bloomfield, is an affluent charter township of Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the township population was 41,070. This area often referred to simply as "Bloomfield" by residents and visitors alike. This Metro Detroit township was organized in 1827, the first township to be established in Oakland County. It almost completely surrounds the city of Bloomfield Hills.

Cranbrook Schools

International Academy

The International Academy, or IA, is a high school located in Bloomfield Hills, Oakland County, Michigan, with additional campuses in White Lake Township, Michigan and Troy, Michigan. Lahser High School

Lahser High School is a high school in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Opened in 1967 with 200 students, it now has almost 900 students. Now the school is receiving the International Baccalaureate program for the class of 2013 and beyond. The teachers at Lahser have been preparing for this for 3 years. The football program has had five consecutive playoff-eligible seasons, 2002–2006, in both class 3 and class 2 MHSAA competition.

Pontiac Assembly Center

Pontiac Assembly Center, also known as Pontiac East Assembly, was a GMC and Chevrolet (pickup) truck production plant operated by General Motors. Other past names of this large GM facility were Truck & Coach and Truck & Bus. The now shuttered plant is located at 2100 South Opdyke Road in Pontiac, Michigan. The factory opened in 1972 for the production of medium-duty pickup trucks and became part of the Truck & Bus Group ten years later.

WBFH

WBFH, also known as The Biff, is a community radio station that has operated out of Bloomfield Hills Andover High School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan since October 1, 1976. The school district is merging the two high schools into one and will be tearing down most of Andover to build new facilities on the same site. WBFH studios will be moved to Lahser High School in the summer of 2013 for the two years of construction on the Andover site.

Academy of the Sacred Heart High School is the oldest independent school in Michigan. Founded in 1851 in Detroit, the Academy moved to its 44-acre campus in Bloomfield Hills in 1958. Ultimate Soccer Arenas

Ultimate Soccer Arenas is an indoor soccer-specific stadium in Pontiac, Michigan. The facility is unique in that it is one of the largest fully enclosed full-size association football arenas in the United States.
