Montgomery County, Maryland

Montgomery County is a county in the U.S. state of Maryland, situated just to the north of Washington, D.C. , and southwest of the city of Baltimore. It is one of the most affluent counties in the United States, and has the highest percentage (29.2%) of residents over 25 years of age who hold post-graduate degrees. The county seat and largest municipality is Rockville; although the census-designated place of Germantown is more populous. As of 2010 the population was 971,777.

Shady Grove (WMATA station)

Shady Grove is an island platform Washington Metro station in Derwood, Maryland, United States. The station was opened on December 15, 1984, and is operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). Serving as the northwestern terminus of the Red Line, it is the station most distant from downtown Washington. The station is the location of the Shady Grove Yard, one of the largest storage yards in the Metrorail system.

Gaithersburg High School

Gaithersburg High School (GHS) is located in Gaithersburg, Maryland, United States. Part of Montgomery County Public Schools, the school was founded in 1904 as "Gaithersburg School" and offered grades K-12. Since 1951, the school resides at 314 South Frederick Avenue and currently offers education for those in grades 9–12.
