Charles Island

Charles Island is a 14 acre (57,000 m²) island located roughly 0.5 mile (1 km) off the coast of Milford, Connecticut, in Long Island Sound centered at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:41|11|28.32|N|73|03|18|W|type:landmark_region:US | |name=Charles Island }}. Charles Island is accessible from shore via a tombolo (locally referred to as a sandbar), which is exposed at low tide. According to early local histories, the Sachem Ansantawae resided there during the summer months.

Milford Ice Pavilion

Milford Ice Pavilion is a 1,000-seat skating rink in Milford, Connecticut. It is home to the Milford Indians co-op high school team, Notre Dame High School Lancers, and Sacred Heart University Pioneers men's ice hockey team. The building opened in 1975 and was renovated in 1985. It also serves several local hockey high school and club level teams. It has been the home of the Sacred Heart hockey program since its inception in 1993.

Silver Sands State Park

Jonathan Law High School

Jonathan Law High School is a public high school located in Milford, Connecticut. The school serves about 850 students in grades 9-12 in the Milford Public Schools system. The school was built in the 1960s to accommodate the increased student census caused by the baby-boom after World War II.
