Saugatuck River

The Saugatuck River is a 23.7-mile-long river in southwestern Connecticut in the United States. It drains part of suburban and rural Fairfield County west of Bridgeport, emptying into Long Island Sound. The USS Saugatuck (AO-75), a World War II fighting ship, was named after the river.

Norwalk High School (Connecticut)

Norwalk High School is a secondary school located in Norwalk, Connecticut, USA. It is the oldest high school in Norwalk, created in 1902. The current building for the school was built in 1971. Pierrepont School (Westport, CT)

Pierrepont School is a small, independent, co-educational elementary and high school based in Westport, Connecticut. Founded in 1999, the school moved into its current building on Sylvan Road in the fall of 2002. The school enrolls students from kindergarten through high school ages. The faculty currently consists of thirty-one full and part-time teachers, offering a student to faculty ratio of less than three to one. Classes, therefore, are small, and student schedules are individualized.

Longshore Sailing School

Longshore Sailing School (LSS), a sailing school with locations in Westport and Greenwich, Connecticut. The school was originally founded in 1960 by the Town of Westport Recreation Commission. It is open to the public. It has operated privately under the name Longshore Sailing School since 1975. Westport (Metro-North station)

The Westport Metro-North Railroad station (also informally known as Saugatuck Station) is one of two New Haven Line stations serving the residents of Westport, Connecticut. It is located in the center of the Saugatuck section of town, a few miles south of downtown Westport; the station was named Westport & Saugatuck in timetables of the New Haven Railroad and the early years of its corporate successor, Penn Central.

Saugatuck River Bridge

The Saugatuck River Bridge is a bridge in Connecticut carrying Route 136 over the Saugatuck River in Westport. The bridge, built in 1884, is the oldest surviving movable bridge in Connecticut and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The total length of the bridge is 87.5 metres with a deck width of 6.1 metres and a minimum vertical clearance of 2.1 metres above the river. The bridge carries an average of about 16,000 vehicles per day.
