Center for Global Studies at Brien McMahon High School
The Center for Global Studies (CGS) is a magnet school within Brien McMahon High School, in Norwalk, Connecticut. Its primary purpose is to teach students the language, history, and literature of Japan and China. Brien McMahon High School is a secondary school located in Norwalk, Connecticut, USA. It is named after Brien McMahon, a former United States Senator from Norwalk. The school's mascot is a Senator with the school colors being red, white, and blue. The school's first senior class graduated in 1962. The current principal is Suzanne Brown Koroshetz. Brien McMahon High School's crosstown rival is Norwalk High School. The two schools compete in an annual Thanksgiving Day football game.
Rowayton (Metro-North station)
The Rowayton Metro-North Railroad station is one of three New Haven Line stations serving the residents of Norwalk, Connecticut. It is located in the neighborhood of Rowayton, from which it derives its name. Rowayton is about 39 miles from Grand Central Terminal and the average travel time from Grand Central is 60 minutes though this varies depending on run and time of day. Nineteenth century artist and humanitarian Vincent Colyer helped to get the station built.
Tokeneke School
Tokeneke Elementary School is one of five elementary schools serving children in Kindergarten through fifth grade in Darien, Connecticut, United States. It is a part of the Darien Public Schools system. In May 2007, the "Kids Care Club" at the school raised more than $12,000 for the charity World Vision to build a bore well for clean water in the village of Makungwa, Zambia.
Norwalk Yacht Club
The Norwalk Yacht Club was founded in August 1894 in Norwalk, Connecticut. The original clubhouse, now a private residence, is a Victorian-style building located on the Western shore of Wilson Cove and still has the club ‘N’ adorned on the exterior wall. The club purchased its current site on Wilson Point (the Eastern side of Wilson Cove) in 1960.

Frederick J. Smith House
The Frederick J. Smith House is a work of modern architecture designed by Richard Meier. The house was planned starting in 1965 and completed in 1967 in Darien, Connecticut. The home has been featured in numerous books. "There is a formal layering, giving a sense of progression, as one moves across the site from the entrance road down to the shore, and the 'line of progression' determines the major site axis," Meier has written.
