Saugatuck River
The Saugatuck River is a 23.7-mile-long river in southwestern Connecticut in the United States. It drains part of suburban and rural Fairfield County west of Bridgeport, emptying into Long Island Sound. The USS Saugatuck (AO-75), a World War II fighting ship, was named after the river.
Norwalk High School (Connecticut)

Kayak for a Cause
Kayak for a Cause is a non-profit kayaking fundraiser that takes place annually on Long Island Sound on the eastern coast of the United States. A group of several-hundred kayakers cross the Sound from Norwalk, Connecticut to the north shore of Long Island and return as they raise money for local and national charities. The current route for the crossing is 12.5 miles long and leaves from Calf Pasture Beach in East Norwalk, Connecticut and lands in Crab Meadow Park in Northport, New York.

Calf Pasture Beach
Calf Pasture Beach is an historically significant park and beach in East Norwalk, Connecticut along Long Island Sound. The area of the park lands (including adjacent Shady Beach Park and Taylor Farm Park) is approximately 35 acres . The beach is accessible by road or by public transit; Norwalk Transit District provides direct bus service to the park and the East Norwalk Metro-North station is about one mile to the north along Calf Pasture Beach Road, Gregory Ave, and East Ave.
Saugatuck River Bridge
The Saugatuck River Bridge is a bridge in Connecticut carrying Route 136 over the Saugatuck River in Westport. The bridge, built in 1884, is the oldest surviving movable bridge in Connecticut and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The total length of the bridge is 87.5 metres with a deck width of 6.1 metres and a minimum vertical clearance of 2.1 metres above the river. The bridge carries an average of about 16,000 vehicles per day.
