Cefnllys
Cefnllys was a mediaeval town in Radnorshire (now part of Powys) in central Wales. Only St Michael's Church remains standing, with mounds indicating the remains of other buildings existing before the decline of the town in the 19th century. Close by on the hill known as Castle Rock are the remains of what is known as Cefnllys Castle. Almost encircling the hill, church and remains of the town is the River Ithon which continues to Llandrindod Wells a little over a mile away.

Pen-y-Bont railway station is a railway station serving the village of Penybont, in mid Wales. It is situated on the Heart of Wales Line. The station is located closer to the villages of Crossgates and Fron than it is to Penybont itself, and is now the closest station to the town of Rhayader, about 9 miles to the west.
Llandrindod railway station
Llandrindod railway station serves the town of Llandrindod Wells in Mid Wales. It is located on the single line Heart of Wales Line and is served by four trains each way on Mondays to Saturdays, two each way on Sundays. Passenger services are operated by Arriva Trains Wales. The facility to pass northbound and southbound trains is used daily.
Maelienydd
Maelienydd, sometimes spelt Maeliennydd, was a cantref and lordship in east central Wales covering the area from the River Teme to Radnor Forest and the area around Llandrindod Wells. The area, which is mainly upland, is now in Powys. During the Middle Ages it was part of the region known as Rhwng Gwy a Hafren, or "Between the Wye and the Severn". Originally an independent kingdom, Maelienydd became an area of great strategic importance after the Norman conquest of England, due to its position.

The National Cycle Collection of Wales is a collection of bicycles through the ages established in 1997, and located in Llandrindod Wells, Wales, United Kingdom. It contains around 250 bicycles from 1818 to 2005, including a large collection of penny farthings and solid tyred safety bicycles, as well as cycling books, accessories and paraphernalia.
Dulas, Ithon
Not to be confused with several other rivers taking the name Dulas (disambiguation) or Dulais in Wales. Dulas or Afon Dulas is a minor right-bank tributary of the River Ithon, itself a tributary of the River Wye. It is formed as several brooks meet near the village of Nantmel and runs east and southeast to join the Ithon just to the north of Llandrindod Wells.
