East Barsham Manor

East Barsham Manor is an important work of Tudor architecture, originally built in or around 1520. It is located in the village of East Barsham, about 5 kilometres north of the town of Fakenham in the English county of Norfolk. It is protected as a Grade I listed building. The two-storey house was built for Sir Henry Fermor between circa 1520 and 1530. By the 19th century it was largely ruined, and was restored in 1919 and 1938.

Fakenham Racecourse is a thoroughbred horse racing venue located in Fakenham, Norfolk, England. The course is left-handed, almost square in shape, with a circumference of about a mile. The steeplechase course is situated to the outside of the hurdle course and consists of six fences per circuit, with the open ditch as the penultimate obstacle.

Fakenham East railway station

Fakenham East railway station was a railway station in the market town of Fakenham in the English county of Norfolk. This station is one of the possible sites protected in local plans in case it is needed to be restored as part of the Mid-Norfolk Railway's eventual plans to return to Fakenham. Any replacement station would be built on the throat of the original site, as sheltered housing has been built on the main station site.

Fakenham West railway station

Fakenham West railway station was a station in Norfolk. It was built as part of the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway main line that meandered across Norfolk from King's Lynn to a number of coastal destinations. It was closed in 1959. The town once served by two stations on separate lines. Fakenham East railway station was on the Great Eastern route between Wells-on-Sea and Wymondham.

Pensthorpe Nature Reserve

The Pensthorpe Nature Reserve is located at Pensthorpe, Norfolk, England is approximately one mile from Fakenham and close to the A1067 road. The reserve covers 600 acres .
