Newhouse Abbey
Newhouse Abbey, near Brocklesby, Lincolnshire, was the first Premonstratensian abbey in England, founded in 1143. The abbey was built in honour of Our Lady and St. Martial, Bishop of Limoges. At the time of the dissolution of the monasteries, this abbey was granted (30 Henry VIII) to Charles Brandon, 1st Duke of Suffolk. Parts only of the old foundations still remain.
Newsham Bridge
Newsham Bridge is a Grade I listed structure in Brocklesby Park, part of the estate of the Earls of Yarborough in West Lindsey, Lincolnshire, England. Constructed around 1772 in the Gothic Revival style, it is probably the work of Lancelot "Capability" Brown, who at that time redesigned some features of the estate, including Newsham Lake, over which the bridge passes.
Great Limber Priory, Limber Magna
Great Limber Priory, Limber Magna was a priory in Great Limber (or Limber Magna), Lincolnshire, England. The manor and church of Great Limber were granted by Richard de Humet, constable of Normandy, France, and Agnes his wife, to the Cistercian abbey of Aunay in Normandy, and their charter was confirmed by King Henry II in 1157. It is uncertain if it was a priory or a grange. The manor and church were sold by the abbot of Aunay in 1393 to the priory of St. Anne at Coventry.

Great Limber Preceptory, Limber Magna was a Camera (farm) of the Knights Templar and later the Knights Hospitaller in the village of Great Limber (or Limber Magna), Lincolnshire, England. The manor and church of Great Limber were granted by Richard de Humet of Normandy, France and Agnes his wife, to the Cistercian abbey of Aunay in Normandy, and their charter was confirmed by King Henry II in 1157. It seems likely that the property was a grange rather than a priory.
Nuncotham Priory
Nuncotham Priory was a priory of Cistercian nuns in Brocklesby, Lincolnshire, England. The priory of Nuncotham in Brocklesby parish was founded by Alan de Moncels around 1150. Throughout its history the Bishops complained that the nuns lived a little too freely. Joan Thompson, the last prioress, had a habit of keeping her own family at the convents expense, and the sisters had a habit of going out to visit friends. It was Dissolved in 1539.
Newsham Abbey
Newsham Abbey was an abbey in Newsham, a small hamlet north of Brocklesby village in Lincolnshire, England. The abbey of Newsham or Newhouse was the first Premonstratensian house established in England, in 1143, the founder being Peter of Gousla, who held in Newsham one knight's fee of Ralf de Bayeux, and founded the abbey, and Ralf de Bayeux enfranchised that fee. It was dedicated to Saint Mary and Saint Martial.
