Porth Nanven

Porth Nanven (also known as Cot Valley Beach) is a beach in the far west of Cornwall, United Kingdom. It is located half-a-mile west of the village of St Just. The beach is at the seaward end of the Cot Valley and is part of the Aire Point To Carrick Du Site of Special Scientific Interest. Porth Nanven is sometimes referred to as 'Dinosaur Egg Beach' because of a remarkable deposit of ovoid boulders covering the beach and foreshore.

Botallack Mine

The Botallack Mine is a former mine in Botallack in west Cornwall, United Kingdom. The village is in a former tin mining area situated between the town of St Just in Penwith and the village of Pendeen. Crown Mines, former tin mines, are low down the cliffs north of Botallack. There are two engine houses here and the mine extends for about 400 metres out under the Atlantic ocean; the deepest shaft is 250 fathoms (about 500m) below sea level.

Kelynack was mentioned in the Domesday book where it was listed as Chelenoc, and as the Tithing of Kelynack in the Assize Rolls of 1284.

Ballowall Barrow

Ballowall Barrow is a prehistoric funerary cairn (chambered tomb) which Ashbee (1982) and Hencken (1902–81) state contains several phases of use from the Neolithic to the Bronze Age. It is situated on the cliff top at Ballowall Common, near St Just in Cornwall, England, UK. It is also known as Carn Gluze Barrow. It was first excavated in 1878 by William Copeland Borlase, when it was discovered under mining debris.

A Plen An Gwarry is a Cornish amphitheatre where mystery plays were staged, it is also an outdoor meeting place, sports arena, and may have had some religious significance related to the staging of festivals. The Plen An Gwarry in St Just in Penwith, Cornwall, is over six hundred years old; probably the oldest working outdoor theatre in Britain, it is central to the celebrations of the annual Lafrowda Day festival.
