Gringo, Pennsylvania
Gringo is an unincorporated community in Hopewell Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located along Pennsylvania Route 151, near the border with Raccoon Township. The area was the site of an oil field in the late 19th and early 20th centuries; there was at least one functioning well operating until the 1960s. The community has disappeared from most modern maps, but lives on in the name of Gringo Road and a few business names.

US Air Flight 427 was a scheduled flight from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport to Pittsburgh, with a final destination of West Palm Beach, Florida. The flight crashed on Thursday, September 8, 1994, killing everyone on board. The Boeing 737-3B7 flying the route, registered N513AU, and previously registered as N382AU, was approaching runway 28R of Pittsburgh International Airport, located in Findlay Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
