Yonkers Raceway
Yonkers Raceway, founded in 1899 as the Empire City Race Track, is a one-half-mile standardbred harness racing dirt track and New York state-approved slots racino located at the intersection of Central Park Avenue and Yonkers Avenue (Exits 2 off the New York State Thruway) in Yonkers, New York near the New York City border. It is currently owned by the Rooney Family, the five sons of Art Rooney, the Pittsburgh Steelers football legend.
Woodlawn, Bronx
Woodlawn (population 7,741) is a upper middle class neighborhood at the very north end of the borough of the Bronx in New York City. Unlike some neighborhoods in New York, its boundaries are well-defined, as it is bounded by McLean Avenue to the north, which is approximately the New York City / Westchester County line, the Bronx River to the east, Woodlawn Cemetery to the south and Van Cortlandt Park to the west.

New York City Water Tunnel No. 3 is the largest construction project in New York history. It is being built by the New York City Department of Environmental Protection to provide New York City with a third connection to the Upstate New York water supply. The tunnel will be more than 60 miles long and will cost over $6 billion. Construction began in 1970 and will not be completed until 2020.
Van Cortlandt Park
Van Cortlandt Park is a 1,146-acre park located in the Bronx in New York City. It is the fourth largest park in New York City, behind Pelham Bay Park, Flushing Meadows Park and Staten Island Greenbelt. The park was named for Stephanus Van Cortlandt, who was the first native-born mayor of New York, and the Van Cortlandt family, which was prominent in the area during the Dutch and English colonial periods.
Woodlawn (Metro-North station)
The Woodlawn (also known as Woodlawn – East 233rd Street) Metro-North Railroad station serves the residents of the Woodlawn section of The Bronx via the Harlem Line. It is 11.8 miles from Grand Central Terminal and is located on East 233rd Street, three blocks from the 233rd Street station on the IRT White Plains Road Line of the New York City Subway. Service at Woodlawn is hourly. Due to its short platform length, only four cars can open their doors at this station.
Hillview Reservoir
The Hillview Reservoir is a 164 acres storage reservoir in southeastern Yonkers, New York. It was built within a six-year period from 1909-1915 by the New York City Board of Water Supply to receive water from the newly-constructed Catskill Aqueduct, which drained water from the Ashokan Reservoir, and sent it down into the Kensico Reservoir, where it would, in turn, be drained back into the Catskill Aqueduct, and sent into the Hillview Reservoir. Lincoln High School is located on 375 Kneeland Avenue in Yonkers, New York. It is one of the seven public high schools in the city and teaches over eight hundred students every school year. It was finally completed in 1955 and renamed Lincoln Junior-Senior High School the following year.
Tibbetts Brook Park
Tibbetts Brook Park is a 161-acre park located in Yonkers in Westchester County, New York. Opened in 1927, it was one of the first developed parks in Westchester County and currently serves residents with activities that include swimming, hiking, sports, nature watching and fishing. The park was named for George Tibbetts, a Briton who had settled the land in 1668.
St. Barnabas' Church (Bronx, New York)
The Church of St. Barnabas is a Roman Catholic parish church under the authority of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located at Martha Avenue near East 241st Street in The Bronx, New York City. The parish was established in July 1910 by the Rev. Michael A. Reilly, separated from the Bronx parish of St. Frances of Rome. It is one of the largest parishes in the Archdiocese.
