Basking Ridge, New Jersey
Basking Ridge is an unincorporated community located within Bernards Township in the Somerset Hills region of Somerset County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2000 Census, the population was 21,424. The area settled during colonial times. It was home to the old AT&T Headquarters, now owned by Verizon. Basking Ridge is the current headquarters for Verizon Wireless, Avaya, Applied Communication Sciences and Barnes & Noble College Booksellers.

Ridge High School opened in September 1961, ending a relationship under which students from the district had been sent to Bernardsville High School dating back to 1948.
Lyons (NJT station)
Lyons Station is a New Jersey Transit station in Basking Ridge, New Jersey along the Gladstone Branch of the Morris & Essex Lines. The station serves south Basking Ridge as well as the hills and Liberty Corner. 2 railroad crossings are located on each side of the station for the far side parking. Also, unlike many of the other stations in this area of the line, this station is one the only ones that are handicap accessible. To the right of the station is an elevated platform for handicaps.

Basking Ridge Station is a New Jersey Transit station in Bernards Township, New Jersey along the Gladstone Branch of the Morris and Essex line. The single station building, located on the north side of the single track, was constructed in 1912. It was built by the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad. Permitted parking is also available.

Lord Stirling Park is a 925/950 acre park operated by the Somerset County Park Commission and located in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, and separated from the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge by the Passaic River. The park displays a diverse ecosystem in floodplains of the upper Passaic River and its contributors and contains swamps, fields, forests, brooks, marshes, and meadows. Lord Stirling Park has two major parts.

Cedar Hill School, located in Bernards Township, Somerset County, New Jersey, is a pre-K-5 elementary school with an enrollment of -3 students. The school was built in 1956 on property donated by the Lee family, although a number of wealthy families owned the property previously. The 60 acres of property was donated to the Bernards Township Board of education to build Ridge High School and Cedar Hill School.
