Beattystown, New Jersey
Beattystown is a census-designated place and unincorporated community located within Mansfield Township, in Warren County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP population was 4,554. Beattystown is listed as one the 10 most endangered historic sites in New Jersey by Preservation New Jersey. The area is located in the eastern region of the Lehigh Valley. Beattystown was started because of a mill built a man named Beatty.

Rockport train wreck
The Rockport train wreck was a train accident that occurred in Rockport in Mansfield Township, New Jersey, about three miles outside of Hackettstown, New Jersey, on June 16, 1925. A violent storm washed debris onto a grade crossing, derailing a Lackawanna Railroad (DL&W) train. The crash killed 42 passengers and five crewmen and injured 23 others.
