Gigha
The Isle of Gigha is a small island off the west coast of Kintyre in Scotland. The island forms part of Argyll and Bute and has a population of about 110 people. The climate is mild with higher than average sunshine hours and the soils are fertile. Gigha has a long history, having been inhabited continuously since prehistoric times. It may have had an important role during the Kingdom of Dalriada and is the ancestral home of Clan MacNeill.
Gigalum Island
Gigalum is a tiny island off Gigha to the south-east. It has a modern house in the middle, and gives its name to the straits between it and the main island, "Caolas Gigalum". There is also the "Gigalum Rocks" a reef to the east, and about a mile north north east from Gigalum Island itself, "Sgeir Gigalum". it is also flanked by another islet, "Eilean na h-Uilinn", literally "Island of the Elbow".

Kilchattan Chapel (St Cathan's Chapel) is a ruined medieval chapel near Ardminish, Gigha, Argyll and Bute, Scotland. Built in the 13th century, the chapel was dedicated to St. Cathan. The remains are protected as a category B listed building.
