Ballycraigy

Ballycraigy is a mainly loyalist housing estate in Antrim, about 10 miles north of Belfast, Northern Ireland. Ballycraigy has its own band "Ballycraigy Sons of Ulster" with Purple/Lilac attire for their uniform. The ballycraigy estate is made up of the mostly Protestant religion group. Every July 12th many of them celebrate by lighting a bonfire in the centre of the estate. The bonfire for 2006 was the largest in Northern Ireland.

Antrim railway station

Antrim railway station serves Antrim in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The station currently serves trains on the Belfast to Derry line via Bleach Green and Yorkgate station. Until 2003, Belfast-Derry trains reached here by means of the Lisburn-Antrim railway line, however this line was mothballed after re-opening of the Bleach Green line. The possibility of reopening it as a circular route, with a halt at Aldergrove for Belfast International Airport has been discussed.

Antrim and Newtownabbey District is a proposed Northern Ireland local government district. The district is to be created by merging the Borough of Antrim and Borough of Newtownabbey. The proposed district will stretch from the lower River Bann and Lough Neagh to the shores of Belfast Lough. The region would have an electorate of 84,996. The name of the new district was recommended on 17 September 2008.
