Bogucice
Bogucice is a district of Katowice, in Poland. The village was probably founded in the 13th century once the first mention of Bogucice dates from 15 December 1360, included in a document of Nicolaus II, Opole-Raciborz Duke, who bestowed the town and some other villages on Otton of Pilica. It was incorporated into Katowice in 1924. The most eminent piece of architecture in Bogucice is the neo-gothic St. Stephen the Martyr's church, which was consecrated in 1894.

Silesian Insurgents' Monument
The Silesian Insurgents' Monument (Polish: Pomnik Powstańców Śląskich) in Katowice, southern Poland, is a monument to those who took part in the three Silesian Uprisings of 1919, 1920 and 1921, which aimed to make the region of Upper Silesia part of the newly independent Polish state. The monument was unveiled on 1 September 1967, and was designed by sculptor Gustaw Zemła and architect Wojciech Zabłocki.

Jerzy Ziętek Rondo
The Rondo Generała Jerzego Ziętka in Katowice is the roundabout in the centre of the city, in the Silesian Voivodship in southern Poland. On that main traffic circle, the Aleja Korfantego and the road 79, part of the Drogowa Trasa Średnicowa, meet. To allow an easy passage through the Katowice city centre for road 79, two underground tunnels of 657 and 650 metres have been built. There are ramps leading to the roundabout, which are the exit for the city centre.

The Kościół św. Szczepana or Saint Stephen's Church is a church in Katowice, Silesian Voivodship, Poland. It is dedicated to Saint Stephen and located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:50|16|9|N|19|2|17|E|type:landmark_region:PL | |name= }} on Leopold Markiefki street. Ludwik Skowronek initiated the building of new church in the Bogucice neighbourhood. It was finished by 1894 and on October 25 of the same year consecrated by cardinal Georga Koppa. In 1994 the church was painted.

Katowice-Muchowiec Airport is a general aviation (mainly sport use) airport in the Muchowiec neighborhood of Katowice, Poland. It has one inoperative concrete runway, RWY 05/23 with the dimensions of 1109 x 30 metres (3640 x 98 feet). There is a displaced threshold length of 221 meters (725 ft) on both RWY 05 and RWY 23, yielding a landing distance of 888 metres (2915 ft). However, coal-mining activity damaged the runway and it is no longer used.

Altus (also known as Uni Centrum or Business Center 2000) is a skyscraper in Katowice, Silesia, Poland. The construction started in 2001 and finished in 2003. The building is 125 m high and rises 30 floors above ground. Total floor area is 68,815 m², and volume is 270,430 m³. The building surrounds a four-story atrium. One wing of the building has 18 stories and the other has 29. Altus is an intelligent building, controlled centrally through a Building Management System.
