Andy Kaufman

Andrew Geoffrey "Andy" Kaufman (January 17, 1949 – May 16, 1984) was an American entertainer, actor and performance artist. While often referred to as a comedian, Kaufman did not consider himself to be one. He disdained telling jokes and engaging in comedy as it was traditionally understood, referring to himself instead as a "song-and-dance man. " Elaborate hoaxes and pranks were major elements of his career.

Valley Stream State Park is a state park located in Valley Stream, Nassau County, New York in the United States. The park is one of three state parks located in the Town of Hempstead and, like Hempstead Lake State Park, originated as a feeder reservoir for the Ridgewood Reservoir. The park is a day use facility, convenient to the Southern State Parkway (exit 15A). Pets are not permitted.

Valley Stream is a station on the Long Island Rail Road's Atlantic Branch serving the residents of Valley Stream, and is the first station (traveling eastbound) in Nassau County. The station is located at Franklin Avenue and Sunrise Highway, west of Rockaway Avenue, and is 17.7 miles (28.5 km) from Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan via the Atlantic Branch east of Jamaica. The station is wheelchair accessible with an elevator from street level; parking facilities and taxis are available.

Westwood is a station on the Long Island Rail Road's West Hempstead Branch serving the villages of Malverne, Lynbrook, and Valley Stream, New York. The station platform is located on Foster Avenue in Malverne, New York, with parking facilities on both the Malverne (Foster Avenue at Motley Street) and Lynbrook (Whitehall Street at John Street) sides of the tracks. It has no station building, because the 1929-built station was gutted into a shelter in 1955.
