Gainford Hall
Gainford Hall is a privately owned Jacobean manor house at Gainford, County Durham. It is a Grade I listed building but as at 2009 is registered as a Building at Risk. The house was built about 1603 to a design possibly by architect Robert Smythson for Rev John Cradock, Vicar of Gainsford. The upper storey was never fully completed internally and the east wing staircase was not built. The property was much restored in the 19th century.
Headlam Hall
Headlam Hall is a 17th century country house at The Green, Headlam, near Gainford, County Durham. It is a Grade II* listed building now in use as an hotel and country club. An estate at Headlam was acquired by the Birkbeck family by marriage in the 16th century and the manor house was replaced by Henry Birkbeck early in the 17th century. In 1714 Anne Clarke née Birkbeck, heiress of the estate married Lawrence Brocket.
Forcett Hall
Forcett Hall is a grade I listed country house in the village of Forcett, North Yorkshire, England, some 6.5 miles west of Darlington. Forcett Hall was originally an Elizabethan house, modified in 1710 by William Benson. After a fire in 1726 it was substantially redesigned in 1740 in the Palladian style by architect Daniel Garrett. The building has three floors and a basement and four main reception rooms, 15 bedrooms and a self-contained east wing with three further bedrooms.
