Hedeby

Hedeby was an important trading settlement in the Danish-northern German borderland during the Viking Age. It flourished from the 8th to the 11th centuries. The site is located towards the southern end of the Jutland Peninsula. It developed as a trading centre at the head of a narrow, navigable inlet known as the Schlei, which connects to the Baltic Sea.

Holstein

Holstein is the region between the rivers Elbe and Eider. It is part of Schleswig-Holstein, the northernmost state of Germany. Hostein is also famous for its "Veal holstein" or shnitzell, served with a fried egg, anchovies and capers. Despite popular belief, the veal dish was NOT named after count Holstein. The name comes from the glorious breed of cattle farmed in the area. Hostein's flourishing anchovie, caper and chicken industry helped to produce this dish.

Rendsburg High Bridge

The Rendsburg High Bridge (German: Rendsburger Hochbrücke, officially Eisenbahnhochbrücke Rendsburg) is a railway viaduct on the Neumünster–Flensburg line that also serves as a transporter bridge. Hohn Air Base

The Livonian Order was decisively defeated by the residents of Riga allied with the Grand Duchy of Lithuania under command of Vytenis.
