Rheinhessen-Pfalz
Rheinhessen-Pfalz (rarely anglicized as "Rhine-Hesse-Palatinate") was one of the three Regierungsbezirke of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, located in the south of the state. It was created in 1968 out of Regierungsbezirke Rheinhessen and Pfalz, which had themselves been created out of the left bank territories of Bavaria and Hesse-Darmstadt before World War II.

Bad Dürkheim lift
The Bad Dürkheim lift (German: Bad Dürkheimer Gondelbahn) was a gondola lift located in Bad Dürkheim. From 1973 on, it linked the Wurstmarkt in the city centre with the Teufelsstein in the Haardt Mountains, situated to the northwest of the lower station. Set down on eight pillars, the cableway bridged a distance of 1,270 metres at a height difference of 165 metres, featuring 43 small cabins.

Expedition GeForce
Expedition GeForce is a steel roller coaster located at Holiday Park in Haßloch, Germany. It is one of the largest roller coasters in Europe and has an 82 degree first drop. The trains travel up to 120 kilometres per hour through a course 1.2 kilometres long with seven periods of weightlessness. At its highest, the ride reaches 53 metres above ground. Until the opening of Silver Star at Europa Park, it was the tallest roller coaster operating on the European mainland.

Neustadt/Weinstrasse Railway Museum
The Neustadt/Weinstrasse Railway Museum (Eisenbahnmuseum Neustadt/Weinstraße) is one of the two railway museums run by the German Railway History Company, (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Eisenbahngeschichte) or DGEG. It is located in the station at Neustadt an der Weinstraße. The other one is the Bochum Dahlhausen Railway Museum. The Neustadt/Weinstrasse Railway Museum is housed in the historic locomotive shed of the Palatinate Railway, built in the very earliest days of the railways.
Holiday Park, Germany
Holiday Park is an amusement park in Haßloch, Germany. It is one of Germany's most popular theme parks (receiving about a million visitors per year) and is part park and part woodland. Its Free Fall Tower was the first amusement ride of its kind in Europe. The Park also offers several roller coasters, including Expedition GeForce, a waterpark, and live shows.
Weingut Reichsrat von Buhl
The Weingut Reichsrat von Buhl is the largest winery estate in Deidesheim in the Palatinate wine region. It produces mainly Riesling wines. The estate is affiliated with the Verband Deutscher Prädikats- und Qualitätsweingüter e.V. The winery was founded by Franz Peter Buhl, a member of parliament in Baden and Bavaria, who inherited the estate in 1848. After his death, his son Franz Armand Buhl inherited the estate. He was a member of the Reichstag and a friend of Chancellor Otto von Bismarck.
Limburg Abbey
Limburg Abbey is a ruined abbey near Bad Dürkheim, at the edge of the Palatinate Forest in Germany. In the 9th century, the Salian Dukes from Worms built a fortress on the Linthberg as their family seat. In the early 11th century, the fortress was converted into a monastery with a basilica. It existed until the mid 16th century.
Neustadt Central Station
Neustadt Central Station (Neustadt Hauptbahnhof) is the centre of public transport in the city of Neustadt in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. In addition to the Hauptbahnhof, there is another station in the city, Neustadt-Böbig, which is a stop on the Rhine-Neckar S-Bahn. Neustadt Local station (Neustadt Lokalbahnhof) was the terminus of the metre gauge Neustadt–Speyer Local Railway (Lokalbahn Neustadt–Speyer), but was closed with the line in 1956.

Mußbach
The Mußbach is a nearly 12 mile long stream in the eastern Palatinate Forest and in the Anterior Palatinate (in the south of Rhineland-Palatinate). The former village of Mußbach (annexed by Neustadt an der Weinstrasse in 1969) was named after it.
Frankenthal Central Station
Frankenthal Central Station (Frankenthal Hauptbahnhof) is the central station for the city of Frankenthal in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate and is located on the Mainz–Ludwigshafen railway. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station. Besides Frankenthal Hauptbahnhof the only other station in Frankenthal is Flomersheim. Another station is planned as Frankenthal Süd.
