Vendryně

Vendryně is a village in Frýdek-Místek District, Moravian-Silesian Region, Czech Republic, on the banks of the Olza River. It has a population of 3,842 (2001 census), 35.3% of the population are Poles. The village lies in the historical region of Cieszyn Silesia. The village is first mentioned in a written document in 1305. In the 19th century an iron ore was mined in the village for the iron works in Ustroń and later the Třinec Iron and Steel Works in Třinec. Limestone was mined until 1965.

Werk Arena

Werk Arena is an indoor sporting arena located in Třinec, Czech Republic. The capacity of the arena is 5,200 people of which 3700 are seats. The arena was built in 1967, the roof was provided in 1976. It is currently home to the HC Oceláři Třinec ice hockey team. The name refers to the Třinec Iron and Steel Works (called Werk in the regional dialect), the main sponsor of the hockey club.

It is the right tributary of the Olza River, to which it enters in Bystřice. It originates near the border with Poland and flows through the villages of Nýdek and Bystřice.

It lies between the Silesian and Moravian-Silesian Beskids mountain ranges, in the historical region of Cieszyn Silesia. The Hluchová River flows to the Olza River in the village. Village was first mentioned in a written document in 1423 although it is probable that it has beginnings in the 14th century.

Lyžbice

Lyžbice is a part of the town of Třinec in Frýdek-Místek District, Moravian-Silesian Region, Czech Republic, on the Olza River. It was a separate municipality but later became administratively a part of the town of Třinec. It lies in the historical region of Cieszyn Silesia and has a population of 17,239 (1 January 2008). Until the rapid expansion of Třinec in the 20th century, it was a larger and more populous village than Třinec.

Lesní stadion

Lesní stadion is a sports stadium located in the town of Třinec, Czech Republic. It now serves as a training ground for the local Athletics team after a long time of being the home ground of the FK Fotbal Třinec football club. It has recently undergone a renovation.
