Geelong
Geelong is a port city located on Corio Bay and the Barwon River, in the state of Victoria, Australia, 75 kilometres south-west of the state capital, Melbourne. It is the second most populated city in Victoria and the fifth most populated non-capital city in Australia. The urban area runs from the plains of Lara in the north to the rolling hills of Waurn Ponds to the south, with the bay to the east and hills to the west, an area with an estimated population of 160,891 people.
City of Greater Geelong
The City of Greater Geelong is a local government area in Victoria, Australia. It is located in the western part of the state, south-west of Melbourne. It has an area of 1,240 square kilometres. In 2011 it had a population of 210,000. The council chambers are located at the Civic Conference and Reception Centre, a part of the Geelong Town Hall in central Geelong.
Kardinia Park (stadium)
Kardinia Park (currently known as Simonds Stadium due to naming rights) is an Australian rules football stadium located in South Geelong, Victoria. The stadium is the home ground of the Geelong Football Club. It is nicknamed "The Cattery" by the club's supporters. Due to redevelopments, the current capacity is 21,973, making it the smallest regularly used home ground in the Australian Football League. At the completion of the redevelopments, the capacity of the stadium will be 33,500.

It was named after General Charles George Gordon after his death at the Siege of Khartoum.

Know lovingly as “Pako” to local residents, the strip stretches between the suburbs of Geelong West at its North end and Newtown to the South. The south end of Pakington Street is commonly referred to as the “Paris end”, due to its high density of high-end designer boutiques and exclusive restaurants, while the north end is home to a myriad of shops including retail, fashion, restaurants, pubs and local services.
Pako Festa
Pako Festa is an annual festival held in Pakington Street, Geelong West each year around late February. The festival is held to promote cultural diversity and show appreciation for the artwork and fashion designed by citizens of the Geelong area. The first festival was held in 1983, and currently attracts the participation of around 30 cultural community groups, up to 60 community groups and a total attendance in excess of 100,000 people. It is the largest multicultural festival in Victoria.

Sacred Heart College, Geelong
Sacred Heart College is a Roman Catholic secondary school for girls, and is located in Retreat Road, Newtown, Geelong, Victoria in Australia. Established in 1860 by the Sisters of Mercy, the school quickly became recognised as a high class education establishment, with a liberal, comprehensive curriculum. Today the student population is approximately 1500. Sacred Heart's brother school is St Joseph's College nearby. It also has a sister school in Akita, Japan called Seirei.

St. Joseph's College, sometimes referred to colloquially as Joeys or SJC, is a Roman Catholic Independent school for boys, and is located in the inner Geelong suburb of Newtown. It is run under the auspices of the Congregation of Christian Brothers and provides education from year 7-12, offering a broad range of curricular choices for its students in middle and senior schools including VCE, VET and VCAL. St Joseph's sister school is the nearby Sacred Heart College.

Geelong Post Office building
The current Geelong Post Office opened in 1994 and is located on the corner of Gheringhap and Little Myers Streets. The original post office was located on the corner of Ryrie and Gheringhap Streets. The Geelong Telegraph Station was located next door.

The Geelong Performing Arts Centre is a performing arts, functions, and events venue located in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. The centre has two major theatres, a number of smaller performance spaces, and a bar, restaurant and cafe. It is located between Little Malop and Ryrie Streets in central Geelong.
