New Rochelle, New York

New Rochelle is a city in Westchester County, New York, United States, in the southeastern portion of the state. The town was settled by refugee Huguenots (French Protestants) in 1688 who were fleeing persecution in France . Many of the settlers were artisans and craftsmen from the city of La Rochelle, France, thus influencing the choice of the name of "New Rochelle. " In 2007, the city had a population of 73,260, making it the seventh largest in the state of New York.

Hynes Athletic Center

New Rochelle (Metro-North station)

Mazzella Field

Mazzella Field is a 2,440-seat multi-purpose stadium at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York, home to the Iona College Gaels men's rugby, men's and women's soccer and women's lacrosse teams. It was opened in 1989. It is the home of the Women's New York Magic of the W-League and was used to host the school's football team until football was dropped. Trump Plaza (New Rochelle) is a 40-story luxury residence located in downtown New Rochelle, New York. The building was designed by the Lessard Group, a nationally recognized architectural firm.
