Centerport, New York
Centerport is a hamlet in Suffolk County, New York, United States, on the notably affluent North Shore of Long Island. Formerly known as Little Cow Harbor in about 1700, as Centreport in 1836, and as Centerport after 1895, the name refers to its geographic position midway between the east and west boundaries of the town of Huntington. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP population was 5,508. It is located in the town of Huntington.

Harborfields High School
Harborfields High School is a four year secondary school located in Greenlawn, New York. It functions as the high school for Harborfields Central School District, which serves the communities of Centerport and Greenlawn and parts of Huntington, Huntington Bay and Northport. The school is ranked 88 on the top 1300 high schools in America in the 2011 Newsweek rankings. The Class of 1960 was the first graduating class, with about 130 graduates from Centerport and Greenlawn only.

Camp Alvernia
Camp Alvernia is a non-profit recreational summer camp in Centerport, New York on the North Shore of Long Island. The camp is located on the east shore of Centerport Harbor, on the Little Neck peninsula. It was founded in 1888 by the Franciscan Brothers of Brooklyn, who still run the facility now, over 120 years later. Alvernia was the first, and is now the oldest Catholic camp in continuous operation in the United States.
Mill Dam Bridge
The Mill Dam Bridge carries Mill Dam Road across the tidal mudflat of Centerport Harbor on the North Shore of Long Island, in Centerport, Suffolk County, New York. It divides the navigable waters of the harbor from the Mill Pond formed by its tidegates. The original Mill Dam and tide mill were built in 1674 at a site south of the present location. The bridge at the current location was first constructed in 1774 by Sylvanus Townsend.
Greenlawn (LIRR station)
Greenlawn is a station on the Port Jefferson Branch of the Long Island Rail Road near the intersection of Boulevard Avenue and Broadway (Suffolk CR 86) in Greenlawn, New York, a few blocks north of Pulaski Road. It is the first station east of Huntington on the non-electrified section of the branch.
