Ridgewood is a village in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the village population was 24,958, reflecting an increase of 22 (+0.1%) from the 24,936 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 784 (+3.2%) from the 24,152 counted in the 1990 Census. Ridgewood is a suburban bedroom community of New York City, located approximately 20 miles northwest of Midtown Manhattan.

Ridgewood Township, New Jersey
Ridgewood Township existed in Bergen County, New Jersey and was established on March 30th, 1876, consisting of the easternmost third of what remained of Franklin Township, west of the Saddle River. Ridgewood Township lasted a mere 18 years, before it was subdivided in 1894, at the peak of the Boroughitis phenomenon that was sweeping through Bergen County at the time. Midland Park was incorporated as a borough on September 6, 1894, and also included portions of Franklin Township.
Glen Rock-Main Line (NJT station)
Glen Rock Station is a New Jersey Transit train station in the borough of Glen Rock, New Jersey, located on Rock Road at Main Street. The station is on the railroad's Main Line and is identified by signage at the station as Glen Rock, but is often referred to as Glen Rock-Main Line (and identified as such by trackside signage) to avoid confusion with the Boro Hall station located two blocks away on Rock Road near the intersection of Maple Avenue.

Ridgewood Station is a major New Jersey Transit rail station hub. It is located in downtown Ridgewood, New Jersey, and divides the downtown area in half. Ridgewood is serviced by the NJT Main Line as well as the Bergen County Line. The station features three platforms. Track 1 is for all trains heading to Hoboken Terminal and intermediate points on the Main and Bergen lines and is located adjacent to a portion of Godwin Avenue known as Garber Square.

According to the hospital's website, "In 2007, over 48,000 patient were admitted to Valley, 66,553 people were treated in the Emergency Department and more than 3,200 babies were born. " In 2007, Valley Hospital was awarded the J. D. Power and Associates recognition for "providing an outstanding inpatient experience" for the fourth consecutive year.
