Weser-Ems
The Regierungsbezirk Weser-Ems was the most westerly of the four administrative regions of Lower Saxony, Germany, bordering on the Dutch provinces of Groningen, Drenthe and Overijssel. It was established in 1978 by merging the former regions Osnabrück, Aurich, and Oldenburg. It was formally dissolved by the end of 2004 along with the other Regierungsbezirke of Lower Saxony as part of an effort to optimize the administrative system of the state.
Fallturm Bremen
Fallturm Bremen is a drop tower at the Center of Applied Space Technology and Microgravity at the University of Bremen in Bremen. It has a 123-metre-high drop tube (actual drop distance is 110 m), in which for 4.74 seconds (with release of the drop capsule), or for over 9 seconds (with the use of a catapult, installed in 2004) weightlessness can be produced. The entire tower, formed out of a reinforced concrete shank, is 146 metres high.

The Mediumwave Transmitter Bremen is the mediumwave broadcasting facility of Radio Bremen situated at Bremen-Oberneuland, Germany. It operates at 936 kHz, with a transmitter output power of 50 kW. The new transmitter at Bremen-Oberneuland was built in 1999 as a replacement for the old transmission facility of Radio Bremen at Leher Feld, which was demolished to make room for an industrial area.

OHB-System is a medium-sized spaceflight company located in Bremen, northern Germany, which belongs to the OHB AG (formerly OHB Technology AG). OHB-System is a systems provider in the areas of telematics, space technology, security and satellite services. The company was founded in 1958 as a marine systems outfitter and shifted its fields of activity toward aerospace engineering in 1981, when it was taken over by Prof. Manfred Fuchs. In 2011 OHB-System employ approximately 2,200 persons.
Weserstadion

The Weserstadion is scenically situated on the north bank of the Weser River and is surrounded by lush green parks (the name 'Werder' is a regional German word for “river peninsula”). The city center is only about a kilometer away. It is the home stadium of German Bundesliga club Werder Bremen. It presented a bid to be a host city in the 2006 FIFA World Cup, which was ultimately turned down.

Wörpe
The Wörpe is a small river in the northern part of the state of Lower Saxony in Germany. The source of the Wörpe is near Steinfeld about 10 kilometres southwest of Zeven. From there the Wörpe flows through Wilstedt and Grasberg before finally discharging into the Wümme near Lilienthal. The course of the Wörpe was artificially changed in the past. Originally it ran through the Truper Blänken and entered the Wümme near Hof Gehrden.
