Korumburra

Korumburra is a town in the Australian state of Victoria. It is located on the South Gippsland Highway, 120 kilometres kilometres south-east of Melbourne, in the South Gippsland Shire local government area. Surrounded by rolling green hills, the town is 227 metres above the sea level of coastal Inverloch, about 28 km away. At the 2006 census, Korumburra had a population of 4465.

It controls a section of the former South Gippsland line between Nyora and Leongatha, operating services from Leongatha to Nyora via Korumburra taking around 65 minutes, trains operate on Sundays, public holidays (except Good Friday and Christmas Day) and Wednesdays during Victorian school holidays. The line passes through the rolling Strzelecki Ranges and lush dairy farmland.

Jeetho railway station

Jeetho was a railway station on the South Gippsland line in South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. The station was opened during the 1890s, Jeetho was later closed during the 1950s along with the nearby station of Whitelaw. There is still a Station Street in the Jeetho township area, this is a gravel and dirt road that leads to farm gates, but no longer to the former Jeetho Station.

White Law was closed during the 1950s along with the nearby station of Jeetho. There is no evidence remaining of this former railway station, all buildings, platforms, sidings and other rail infrastructure has been removed from the site, this occurred in the late 1960s, long after the station's official closure.
