Castleton, Staten Island
Castleton is a former town in the U.S. state of New York. It was located in the northeastern part of Staten Island prior to the incorporation of Staten Island into New York City in 1898. It had a total area of 3880 acres (16 km²) and was bounded by Upper New York Bay on the east and the Kill Van Kull on the north. The town dates from the late 17th century as one of the four original divisions of Richmond County (five after Middletown was created in the mid-19th century).

Spiro Sports Center
Spiro Sports Center is a 2,100-seat multi-purpose arena located on the campus of Wagner College in Staten Island, New York. It was built in 1999 as an extensive addition to the Sutter Gymnasium which was constructed in 1951. The center is home to the Wagner College Seahawks men's and women's basketball team. The Northeast Conference men's basketball tournament was held there in 1999 and 2003.

Michael J. Petrides School
The Michael J. Petrides School is located on 715 Ocean Terrace in Staten Island, New York. It was created by Board of Education officials, and named after Michael J. Petrides. It opened in 1995. The school was created on the former College of Staten Island campus. Students apply to attend the school through a lottery system.
Notre Dame College (New York)
Notre Dame College was a small Catholic women's college located in the Grymes Hill area of Staten Island, New York. It opened in 1933 as an affiliate of Fordham University and merged with St. John's University in 1971. Notre Dame was located on the former estate of Herbert Gans. It opened with 13 students and graduated its first class in 1935. The alumnae association now has about 1,600 active members. The college's campus is now the Staten Island campus of St. John's.
2007 Brooklyn tornadoes
The 2007 Brooklyn tornado was the strongest tornado on record to strike in New York City. It formed in the early morning hours of August 8, 2007, skipping along an approximately 9 mile (15 km) long path, from Staten Island across the The Narrows to Brooklyn. The worst damage was in and around Sunset Park and Bay Ridge, in Brooklyn. The U.S. National Weather Service estimated its strength there as an EF2 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale.
Independence Manor
Independence Manor is a Victorian/Gothic revival style home built in Sunnyside, Staten Island, New York in 1897. It has been home to an all-girls private school in the late nineteenth century, and as a border house in the 1920s and 1930s. It is currently occupied by a law firm called Castorina & Associates, P.C.
Clove Lake Park
Clove Lakes Park is a public park located in the New York City borough of Staten Island, in the neighborhood of Sunnyside. With valuable ecological assets, Clove Lakes Park has a rich natural history and a few remnants of the past. Chief among them are the park's lakes and ponds, outcroppings of serpentine rocks, and Staten Island's largest living things, a three hundred year-old tulip tree.
St. Peter's Cemetery (Staten Island, New York)
St. Peter's Cemetery is the oldest Catholic cemetery on Staten Island and dates from 1848. The Cemetery is located at the junctures of Clove Road, Bement Avenue, and Tyler Place. It is in two sections on both sides of Clove Road. The offices can be accessed from Tyler Place or by entry from Bement Avenue at Tyler Place. The oldest sections of the cemetery reflect the mostly Irish Catholic community that once entirely comprised the Staten Island Catholic community. St.
