The Whitewell Road is an interface area in north Belfast and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland, and historically the site of occasional clashes between nationalists and loyalists. Cavehill, historically known as Ben Madigan (from Irish: Beann Mhadagáin), is a basaltic hill overlooking the city of Belfast in Northern Ireland. It forms part of the southeastern border of the Antrim Plateau. It is distinguished by its famous 'Napoleon's Nose', a basaltic outcrop which resembles the profile of the famous emperor Napoleon. Cavehill is also the name of an electoral ward in Belfast. All of Belfast can be seen from its peak, as can the Isle of Man and Scotland on clear days.

Mossley West railway station

Mossley West railway station is located in the townland of Ballyhenry in the north of Newtownabbey, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. In 2008 the station was refurbished as part of a £17 million investment package by NI Railways to improve access for disabled passengers and provide better lighting, signage and seating. Whiteabbey is technically the next stop on the line, however two services each way stop here in accordance with the current timetable.

Jordanstown railway station

Jordanstown railway station serves Jordanstown and the University of Ulster in Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland. A park and ride facility for the station has been proposed to ease congestion on the main Jordanstown Road. The station was opened on 1 February 1853. The station buildings were demolished in the 1980s and replaced by modest shelters. Prior to this, the station was staffed permanently and had a manually operated level crossing.

The A8(M) is a motorway in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is 1 mile (1.6 km) long and is a spur of the M2 motorway. It was opened on 24 October 1966 and built at the same time as the M2 section to which it connects. It is part of the unsigned European routes E01 and E18. The A8(M) does not meet any other motorways directly, with one end connecting to the A8, and the other connecting to the A6. The roundabout junction which links the A8(M) to the M2 is the A6.

Bleach Green railway station

Bleach Green (also known as Bleach Green Halt) is a former station operated Northern Ireland Railways in the village of Whiteabbey, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The station sat near the viaducts at the junction of the Belfast-Larne railway line and Belfast-Derry railway line, but only had platforms on the Larne Line tracks. It closed to passengers in 1977 when NIR services were cut back.

Titanic Memorial, Belfast

The Titanic Memorial in Belfast was erected to commemorate the lives lost in the sinking of the RMS Titanic on 15 April 1912. It was funded by contributions from the public, shipyard workers and victims' families, and was dedicated in June 1920. It is located on Donegall Square in central Belfast in the grounds of Belfast City Hall.

Whitehouse Primary School

Whitehouse Primary School is a primary school in Newtownabbey. It was destroyed in an arson attack on 18 July 2009. After the school was destroyed, all its students were admitted into the Newtownabby High School. On 14 May 2010, the Education Minister Caitríona Ruane approved an amount of £3.6m for rebuilding the school. In the arson attack, the entire building except the front half was burnt down. The front half included the canteen, the Primary (Grade) 1 Classrooms and the Nursery Unit.
