Schönbrunn Palace
Schönbrunn Palace is a former imperial 1,441-room Rococo summer residence in modern Vienna, Austria. One of the most important cultural monuments in the country, since the 1960s it has been one of the major tourist attractions in Vienna. The palace and gardens illustrate the tastes, interests, and aspirations of successive Habsburg monarchs.

Meidling
Meidling is the 12th district of Vienna . It is located just southwest of the central districts, south of the Wienfluss, west of the Gürtel belt, and east and southeast of Schönbrunn palace. Meidling is a heavily populated urban area with many residential buildings, but also large recreational areas and parks. Traditionally, Meidling has been a working-class neighborhood. Liesing
Liesing is the 23rd district of Vienna (German: '23. Bezirk, Liesing). It is on the southwest edge of Vienna, Austria. Fifteen Lower Austrian districts, especially the old legal jurisdiction of Liesing, were incorporated into the 25th district. After the allied occupation of Vienna, this law was not recognized and Liesing became a part of Lower Austria in the Soviet occupation zone.

Spinnerin am Kreuz
The German name Spinnerin am Kreuz ("Spinner at the Cross") is the title given to two separate Austrian stone-tower sculptures (over 600-years-old), one in Vienna and the other in the nearby city of Wiener Neustadt ("New Vienna"). They are related to the story of a wife spinning beside a cross. Both columns had been designed originally by Meister Michael Knab: in Vienna, the stone tower was built in 1375, rebuilt c.1452; in Wiener Neustadt, the stone tower was built in 1382-84.

Atzgersdorf
Atzgersdorf is a former municipality in Lower Austria that is now a part of the 23rd Viennese district Liesing. A small part of the former municipality today is part of the 12th Viennese district Meidling. Today, the cadastral commune Atzgersdorf has got an area of 411,42 hectare. The part that belongs to Meidling has got an area of 35 hectare.
Inzersdorf (Vienna)

The Wüstenhaus Schönbrunn (Schönbrunn Desert House) is a desert botanical exhibit in Vienna, Austria. It is located in the Sonnenuhrhaus ("Sundial House"), which was built in 1904 as the newest of the four botanical houses in Schönbrunn Palace Park. The desert exhibit opened in 2004 as a counterpart to the "Rainforest House" that opened in 2002 in the nearby Zoo Vienna.

Wien Meidling railway station
Wien Meidling (German for Vienna Meidling) is one of Vienna's main railway stations located at the Philadelphiabrücke. When the Südbahnhof (South station) was demolished in December 2009 to build Vienna's new Hauptbahnhof (main station), Wien Meidling had to take over the functions of the Südbahnhof and is now frequented by 55,000 people daily (instead of 45,000) and with that one of Austria's most frequented railway stations.

Rufer House
The Rufer House was designed by architect Adolf Loos (Adolf Franz Karl Viktor Maria Loos) in 1922 for Joseph and Marie Rufer. It is considered to be the first example of the new style of Raumplan. Raumplan was very different from its predecessor Free Plan in its internal spatial organization. While not as well known as some of other of Loos’ houses, this set the precedent for his later designs.
