Saint Vincent College
Saint Vincent College is a four-year, coeducational, Roman Catholic, Benedictine, liberal arts college located about 40 miles southeast of Pittsburgh in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, USA. It was founded in 1846 by Boniface Wimmer, a monk from Bavaria, Germany. It was the first Benedictine monastery in the United States. It is operated by the Benedictine monks of Saint Vincent Archabbey.

Latrobe Brewing Company
Latrobe Brewing Company in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, founded in 1893, was one of the largest breweries in the United States and the maker of Rolling Rock beer. It was purchased by Labatt Brewing Company in 1987, which in turn was purchased in 1995 by the Belgian brewing conglomerate Interbrew, which merged into InBev in 2004. In May 2006, InBev announced that it was selling the Rolling Rock brands to Anheuser-Busch, the largest brewer in the United States.

Saint Vincent Seminary
Saint Vincent Seminary is the fourth oldest Roman Catholic seminary in the United States and is located in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, forty miles southeast of Pittsburgh. It was founded by Father Boniface Wimmer in 1846, who came from Saint Michael’s Abbey in Metten, Bavaria, to establish Saint Vincent Archabbey as the first Benedictine monastery in North America. The seminary was officially established on August 24, 1855 through an Apostolic Brief of Pope Pius IX.

Latrobe (Amtrak station)
Latrobe Station is an Amtrak rail station located about 40 miles east of Pittsburgh at 329 McKinley Avenue, Latrobe, Pennsylvania. The station is near the center of the city, and is currently served only by Amtrak's Pennsylvanian, which operates once per day in each direction. Until 2005, Latrobe was served by a second daily train, the Three Rivers (a replacement service for the legendary Broadway Limited), an extended version of the Pennsylvanian that terminated in Chicago.

WCNS is a commercially licensed AM radio station, licensed to Latrobe, Pennsylvania. WCNS broadcasts at the federally assigned frequency of 1480 kilohertz, with a daytime power output of 500 watts, and a nighttime power of 1,000 watts. The station broadcasts non-directionally during the daytime, and uses a four-tower directional antenna pattern at night.

WSGM
WSGM, is a radio station broadcasting from Tracy City, Tennessee broadcasting an all-gospel format. WSGM is owned and operated by the Cumberland Communications Cooperation. The current president of the cooperation is Dr. Byron Harbolt, well known in the area for offering healthcare to patients for very low prices. WSGM Radio first went on the air in 1994, barely beating the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) deadline.

Chuck Noll Field
Chuck Noll Field is a 1,050-seat football stadium in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. It is home to the Saint Vincent College Bearcats football team. Since 2007, Chuck Noll Field has hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers training camp. It is named after former Steelers head coach, Chuck Noll.

Chestnut Ridge (Laurel Highlands)
Chestnut Ridge is the westernmost ridge in the Appalachian Mountains. The ridge is mostly in the Laurel Highlands portion of Pennsylvania. Chestnut ridge rises in southern Indiana County and continues south-west-southwardly and gradually slopes down and finally ends 10 miles southeast of Morgantown, West Virginia. The ridge passes near cities of Latrobe, Mt. Pleasant, Connellsville, Uniontown, and Morgantown, WV.
