Stark County, Ohio
Stark County is a county located in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 375,586, which is a decrease of 0.7% from 378,098 in 2000. It is included in the Canton-Massillon, Ohio Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is named for John Stark, an officer in the American Revolutionary War. Its county seat is Canton.

Plain Township is one of the seventeen townships of Stark County, Ohio, United States. The 2000 census found 51,997 people in the township, 35,543 of whom lived in the unincorporated portions of the township. Located near the city of Canton, it is one of the more populous urban townships in Ohio.

WHBC is an AM radio station in Canton, Ohio operating on 1480 kHz and featuring a news/talk format supplemented with sports play-by-play in the evenings and weekends. The station is one of about 40 stations in the country that have split site transmitters—one site for daytime broadcasting and a different site for nighttime broadcasting. WHBC's daytime transmitter is located northeast of Canton off Diamond Street near Middlebranch Road.
Canton Memorial Civic Center
The Canton Memorial Civic Center is a multi-purpose arena in Canton, Ohio, USA. It was built in 1951. It was the home to the Canton Legends arena football team and Canton Invaders indoor soccer team and Ohio Aviators of the American Basketball Association. SARTA, (Stark Area Regional Transit Authority), is a public sector transit agency servicing Stark County, a county in Ohio containing Canton, Alliance, and Massillon. In addition to its regular line service within Stark County, SARTA runs one bus route (with multiple times) between Canton and downtown Akron, connecting to Akron's METRO RTA bus system and also serving the Akron-Canton Regional Airport from both cities and one route to Cleveland starting March 4, 2013.

Nimishillen Creek is a tributary of Sandy Creek, 24.5 miles (39.4 km) long, in northeastern Ohio in the United States.
