Arc de Berà
The Arc de Berà (sometimes written Barà) is a triumphal arch some 20 km north of the city of Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain, close to Roda de Barà. This monument is part of the Archaeological Ensemble of Tarraco, which was added to the UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites in 2000. It stands on the line of what was the Via Augusta, now the N-340 road. Its name derives from the count Berà.
N-240 road (Spain)
The N-240 is a major east-west highway in Spain. It goes from Tarragona to Bilbao. It will be upgraded to the Autovía A-10. The road heads south east from Bilbao over Pto de Barazar (604m) to Vitoria. There it joins the Madrid-Francia highway the N-I to Pamplona. There it follows the Rio Eloz and Rio Aragon to Jaca. It then joins the N-330 south to Huesca. The road heads out of the foothills of the Pyrenees through Barbasto and Monzón to Lleida.

Camp de Tarragona is a railway station, opened on 19 December 2006, on the Madrid-Barcelona high-speed rail line between Madrid and Barcelona. Located between the municipalities of La Secuita and Perafort,some 8 km north of Tarragona itself, the new station serves an area with an estimated population of over 400,000.

The Royal Tarragona Yacht Club (Catalan: Reial Club Nàutic de Tarragona, Spanish: Real Club Náutico de Tarragona) is a yacht club based in Tarragona. It is one of the oldest yacht clubs in Spain. This club is located at one end of the Port of Tarragona. It is a well-equipped yacht club, with its own yacht harbor as well as an adjacent area housing the club's premises, a locally well-known Sailing School, as well as a restaurant and cafeteria. The club's harbor has a 500 m2 mooring area.

The aqueduct bridge is located 4 kilometers north of the city. The aqueduct is part of the Archaeological Ensemble of Tarraco, which was added to the UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites in 2000.

Battle of Altafulla
In the Battle of Altafulla (24 January 1812) a Spanish division led by Joaquín Ibáñez Cuevas y de Valonga, Baron de Eroles clashed with an Imperial French division under the command of David-Maurice-Joseph Mathieu de La Redorte. Believing he faced only a single battalion, Eroles attacked in a heavy fog and was drubbed by 8,000 French soldiers. The action occurred during the Peninsular War, part of the Napoleonic Wars.
