Taunus
The Taunus is a low mountain range in Hesse, Germany that composes part of the Rhenish Slate Mountains. It is bounded by the river valleys of Rhine, Main and Lahn. On the opposite side of the Rhine, the mountains are continued by the Hunsrück. The mountains themselves span the districts of Hochtaunuskreis, Main-Taunus, Rheingau-Taunus, Limburg-Weilburg, and Rhein-Lahn.

Feldberg/Taunus transmitter
The Feldberg/Taunus transmitter is a facility for FM- and TV-broadcasting and for directional radio services. It is used for FM- and TV-broadcasting; a 116.17 metre high guyed mast is used as an antenna tower. It is located on the Großer Feldberg, the highest mountain in the Taunus region of Germany. The telecommunication tower on the Großer Feldberg is a combination of a multistoried building and a telecommunications tower of unconventional design.

Camp King
Camp King is a site on the outskirts of Oberursel, Taunus, with a long history. It began as a school for agriculture under the auspices of the University of Frankfurt. During World War II, the lower fields became an interrogation center for the German Air Force. After World War II, the United States Army also used it as an interrogation center and intelligence post. In 1968, it became the command and control center for the United States Army Movements Control Agency - Europe.

The Hessenpark is an open air museum in Neu-Anspach, Hesse, Germany. It was founded in 1974 by the Hesse State Government headed by Albert Osswald. The museum showcases half-timbered buildings from the land of Hesse. As of 2006, there were almost 100 houses on display. The Hessenpark is a popular family destination.
Schlosshotel Kronberg

Arboretum Main-Taunus
The Arboretum Main-Taunus (76 hectares) is an arboretum located on Am Weissen Stein, just southwest of Eschborn, Hesse, Germany. The arboretum was begun in 1982 on the site of a former military airport, and currently contains over 600 tree and shrub species from around the northern hemisphere, including Central Europe, Asia Minor, the Himalayas, China, Japan, and North America.
Kempinski Hotel Falkenstein
Kempinski Hotel Falkenstein is a luxurious hotel in Königstein im Taunus (Falkenstein im Taunus), Germany. It was owned by Kaiser Wilhelm II in 1909 as a sanatorium for officers. Since 1999 it has belonged to the chain Kempinski. The building was opened in 1875. It was a sanatorium from 1875 to 1976 and also served as a hospital, military sanatorium and hospital for invalids before being closed in 1991. On 9 September 1999 it re-opened as a Kempinski hotel with 106 rooms.

Altkönig the third tallest mountain of the Taunus range in Hesse, Germany, reaching 798 meters above sea level. In the La Tène period around 400 BC, the Celts settled the Altkönig. They built a ringwall around the summit which is still evident. It is unknown when and why they abandoned the Altkönig.

Bad Soden (Taunus) station is the northern terminus of the Soden Railway in the German state of Hesse. It is also the northern terminus of the line S 3 services of the Rhine-Main S-Bahn over the Limes Railway (Limesbahn).
Niederhöchstadt station
Niederhöchstadt station is a junction station in the Niederhöchstadt district of the town of Eschborn in the German state of Hesse. The stations of Eschborn and Eschborn Süd are nearby. Just north-west of the station the Limes Railway to Bad Soden separates from the Kronberg Railway to Kronberg. The station is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station.

Heidetrank Oppidum
The Heidetrank Oppidum near Oberursel in the Taunus in Germany is one of Europe's most important Celtic oppida. The oppidum was surrounded by ringwalls which encircled the settlement of opposite sides of a ravine called the Heidetrankthal. They high point of the settlement was in the late La Tène period, but lost its importance in the mid first century BC.
