Montrachet
Montrachet is an Appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) and Grand Cru vineyard for white wine from Chardonnay in the Côte de Beaune subregion of Burgundy. It is situated across the border between the two communes of Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet and produces what many consider to be the greatest dry white wine in the world. It is surrounded by four other Grand Cru vineyards all having "Montrachet" as part of their names.
Côte de Beaune
The Côte de Beaune area is the southern part of the Côte d'Or, the limestone ridge that is home to the great names of Burgundy wine. The Côte de Beaune starts between Nuits-Saint-Georges and Beaune, and extends southwards for about 25 km to the River Dheune. The trend of producing red wines continues from the Côte de Nuits to the north, down through Beaune, although the wines become lighter and more perfumed.
Corton-Charlemagne
Corton-Charlemagne is an Appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) and Grand Cru vineyard for white wine in Côte de Beaune subregion of Burgundy. It is located in the communes of Aloxe-Corton, Pernand-Vergelesses and Ladoix-Serrigny with Chardonnay being the only permitted grape variety. Around 300,000 bottles of white wine are produced each year in the appellation. Corton-Charlemagne is named after the Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne, who once owned the hill of Corton that the vineyards now rest.

Hospices de Beaune
The Hospices de Beaune or Hôtel-Dieu de Beaune is a former charitable almshouse in Beaune, France. It was founded in 1443 by Nicolas Rolin, chancellor of Burgundy, as a hospital for the poor and needy. The original hospital building, the Hôtel-Dieu, one of the finest examples of French fifteenth-century architecture, is now a museum. Services for patients are now provided in modern hospital buildings.
Château de la Rochepot
The Château de la Rochepot is a 13th century castle, later converted into a château, in the commune of La Rochepot in the Côte d'Or département in Burgundy, France. It lies on the N6 to the south west of the town of Beaune. The castle was built in the 13th century on an outcrop of limestone to the north of the village of La Rochepot. As with many castles, it fell into ruin and it was only restored in the 19th century by the Carnot family. It is open to visitors.
Château de Germolles
Château de Germolles is situated in Burgundy, not far from Beaune and Chalon-sur-Saône. It is the best preserved residence of the Dukes of Burgundy. Built during the second part of the 14th century, this château is important for the history of the region. Furthermore it is a rare example of such a well preserved residence in France in the 14th and the beginning of the 15th centuries, when most of the princely palaces of that period have almost entirely disappeared.
Chalon Cathedral
Chalon Cathedral (Cathédrale Saint-Vincent de Chalon-sur-Saône) is a former Roman Catholic cathedral located in Chalon-sur-Saône. It was the seat of the Bishop of Chalon. The diocese was abolished by the Concordat of 1801 and was absorbed by the Diocese of Autun. Parts of the building date from the 8th century, but the neo-gothic façade is from the 19th. It was declared a national monument of France in 1903.

Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet is an Appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) and Grand Cru vineyard for white wine from Chardonnay in the Côte de Beaune subregion of Burgundy. It is located within the commune of Puligny-Montrachet. Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet borders on the Grand Cru vineyard Bâtard-Montrachet in the west and south, on the Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru vineyard Les Pucelles in the north and on village-level Puligny-Montrachet vineyards in the east. The AOC was created in 1937.
Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet
Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet is an Appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) and Grand Cru vineyard for white wine from Chardonnay in the Côte de Beaune subregion of Burgundy. It is located within the commune of Chassagne-Montrachet. Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet borders on the Grand Cru vineyard Bâtard-Montrachet in the north, on the Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru vineyard Blanchot Dessus in the west and on village-level Chassagne-Montrachet vineyards in the south and east. The AOC was created in 1937.
Château de Rully
The Château de Rully is a castle in the commune of Rully in the Saône-et-Loire département of France. Located on the side of a hill, the castle dominates the whole region, facing the plain leading to the Saône. To the west, it commands the valley towards Nantoux and Chassey-le-Camp.
Maison Louis Latour
Maison Louis Latour is an important négociant-éléveur of red and white wines in Burgundy, France. Currently run by the seventh Louis Latour, Louis-Fabrice Latour, the company has remained family-run since its foundation in 1797 and has built a reputation for tradition and innovation. This Domaine has the largest Grand Cru property in the Cote d'Or with a total of 28.63 hectares (71.58 acres). In 1997 Louis Latour was admitted into the exclusive club of the Hénokiens.

The garden was established in 1953 by the Society of Naural History and Mycology of Saône-et-Loire under active direction of its president, Dr. Gilbert Durand, and has been maintained by the city since 1959.
