Battle of White Mountain

Letohrádek Hvězda (translating into English as "Star Villa" or "Star Summer Palace") is a renaissance villa situated in a game reserve of the same name in Liboc, Prague 6, 7 kilometres west of Prague city centre. The surrounding game reserve was founded in 1530 King Ferdinand I. 25 years later, he commissioned his younger son Ferdinand II, Archduke of Austria to build the villa.

Okoř is a castle located on a low rocky promontory in Okoř, north-west of Prague, about 15 km from the city centre, in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. In 1228 a stronghold was built in the small hamlet of Okoř. It was later modified into a Gothic castle, founded in 1359 by Frantisek Rokyčansky, a wealthy burgher of Prague's Old Town. It was later modified by comprehensive Late Gothic remodelling by the Lords of Donin.
Obora Hvězda (Star Game Reserve) is a 84 hectares forest park (formerly a royal game reserve) in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic which is now protected as natural monument. It is located about 6 kilometres west of city centre, surrounded by the neighbourhoods of Liboc (N), Břevnov (E), Bílá Hora (SW) and Ruzyně (W). First mention of the forest, originally called Malejov dates from 993, when duke Boleslaus II donated it to newly established Břevnov Monastery.
Divoká Šárka is a nature reserve on the northwestern outskirts of Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic. It contains a gorge. It is named after the warrior Šárka, who, according to mythology, threw herself to her death from its cliffs. It is the closest site to the city where the Black Woodpecker lives. There is a public pool located in the middle of the Divoká Šárka natural reserve.

Praha-Veleslavín railway station
Praha-Veleslavín railway station is located in Veleslavín, Prague 6, on line 120, linking Prague's Masarykovo nádraží with Kladno and Rakovník. The station was opened in 1863 on an already existing line, between Praha-Dejvice and Praha-Ruzyně. Freight services through this station were discontinued entirely since the 2008 closing of the spur to the nearby heating plant.
