Saint Lawrence Seaway
The Saint Lawrence Seaway (St. Lawrence Seaway), (French: la Voie Maritime du Saint-Laurent), is the common name for a system of locks, canals and channels that permits ocean-going vessels to travel from the Atlantic Ocean to the Great Lakes, as far inland as the western end of Lake Superior. The Seaway is named for the Saint Lawrence River, which flows from Lake Ontario to the Atlantic Ocean. Legally, the Seaway extends from Montreal, Quebec, to Lake Erie, and includes the Welland Canal.

Fairview Pointe-Claire, also called Fairview Centre (or Centre Fairview in French), is one of the biggest super regional shopping malls on the island of Montreal with about 1,000,000 square feet spread on two levels of shopping space. Morgan Arboretum
The Morgan Arboretum is a 245-hectare forested reserve, situated on the McGill University Macdonald Campus in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue on the western tip of the island of Montreal, in Quebec, Canada. McGill University acquired the property in 1945, and through the work of Robert Watson and his son John Watson, the arboretum has remained a managed, mixed use area which is used for the purpose of conservation, academic study, recreation, and forestry management.
Fort Senneville
Fort Senneville is one of the outlying forts of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, built by the Canadiens of New France near the Sainte-Anne rapids in 1671. The property was part of a fief ceded to Dugué de Boisbriant in 1672 by the Sulpicians. A large stone windmill, which doubled as a watch tower, was built on a hill by late 1686 and featuring machicolation and other castle-like features. The fort was burned down by Iroquois in 1691, with only the mill itself left standing.
Dowker Island
Dowker Island is part of the Hochelaga Archipelago in Lake Saint Louis, Quebec, between the Island of Montreal and the Île Perrot. Although near the towns of Baie-d'Urfé and Beaconsfield, it is administratively part of l'Île-Perrot. The flat, wooded, and uninhabited island is about a kilometer in length and breadth. Dowker Island, then known as île Sainte-Geneviève, was granted to François-Marie Perrot, the governor of Montreal, by Jean Talon, on 29 October 1672, along with the île Perrot.

Soulanges Canal
The Soulanges Canal is an abandoned shipping canal in Quebec, Canada. It follows the north shore of the Saint Lawrence River between Pointe-des-Cascades and Coteaux-Landing, bypassing the rapids between Lake Saint-Louis and Lake Saint-Francis. In between, it passes through the towns of Les Cèdres and Coteau-du-Lac. It superseded the first Beauharnois Canal which was on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence. It is 23 kilometers long and had a 4.3-meter draught.

The Lakeshore General Hospital (LGH) is a Canadian acute care institution located in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, a suburban municipality near Montreal. The hospital employs 1,200 employees and contains 257 beds, and serves an estimated population of 377,000 in the West Island region of Montreal. The LGH is situated close to major highway arteries such as Highways 13, 20, 40, and 520 and is often called upon to treat and stabilize accident victims.

Galipeault Bridge
The Galipeault Bridge is a bridge on the western tip of the Island of Montreal, spanning the Ottawa River between Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue and L'Île-Perrot, Quebec, Canada. It carries four lanes of Autoroute 20, and was named after Antonin Galipeault, who was minister of public works under Louis-Alexandre Taschereau. Incidentally, Taschereau Bridge, along the same highway, was part of the same project.
