Bears Castle
Bears Castle is a small castle in Yan Yean, Victoria, Australia. The castle was constructed from mud and clay in around 1846 by two men named Hannaford and Edwards, each of whom had recently arrived from Devon, England. It was built for the pastoralist John Bear. The castle is approximately 12 square metres in area, and has parapets and turrets on each corner. In around 1900 the parapets and a castellated tower were removed.

Wandong is a town in Victoria, Australia. The town is about 50 kilometres north of the state capital, Melbourne, on the Hume Highway. It adjoins the town of Heathcote Junction, and at the 2006 census, the two towns had a population of 1,490. The main centre nearest Wandong is Kilmore. Wandong Post Office opened on 9 October 1876. The town has its own railway station on the Albury-Wodonga and Shepparton railway lines.

Beveridge railway station
Beveridge is a closed railway station on the North East railway that served the township of Beveridge, Victoria, Australia. This station opened on 14 October 1872. A goods shed was provided on opening, until moved in 1885 to the down side of the line. The final station building was located on the down platform and was transferred from Bright to replace the original in October 1900.
Whittlesea Secondary College
Whittlesea Secondary College is located in the township of Whittlesea, Victoria, Australia. It is set on the grounds of the former Whittlesea Technical High School, a link maintained today in the school's array of subjects including science, automotive repair, woodworking, metalworking, sewing and home economics. The Post Office at Kilmore East opened on 1 September 1872 as Gavan Duffy, named after Sir Charles Gavan Duffy the Premier of Victoria until June of that year. It was renamed Kilmore East two months later and closed in 1976. Gavan Street and Duffy Street are reminders of the original township name.

Pretty Sally
Pretty Sally or Pretty Sally Hill is a dormant volcanic cone located between Wallan and Kilmore in Victoria, Australia. It is 529 metres above sea level. It arises from the surrounding open undulating plains of a broad gap in the Great Dividing Range. The original road to Sydney ran near the peak known as the Big Hill. Sally Smith (better known as "Pretty Sally") operated an unlicenced hotel there in the 1840s. She died falling under her cart after striking a stump.
