Cremorne, Victoria
Cremorne is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 2 km south-east from Melbourne's Central Business District. Its Local Government Area is the City of Yarra. At the 2011 Census, Cremorne had a population of 1,564. Cremorne is a small suburb in inner Melbourne, bounded by the Yarra River, Punt Road, Swan and Church Streets, and divided down the middle by the railway to South Yarra.

It is located on the Frankston, Pakenham, Cranbourne, and Sandringham railway lines, at Toorak Road and Yarra Street in the suburb of South Yarra. It is 4.2 kilemetres from Flinders Street Station, the centre of the city's suburban railway network, and in Metlink ticketing Zone 1. It is the seventh-busiest railway station in Melbourne based upon passenger boardings, with an average of 11,300 boardings per day in 2009.

Walsh Street police shootings
The Walsh Street police shootings was the 1988 murder of two Victoria Police officers, Constables Steven Tynan, 22, and Damian Eyre, 20. The officers were responding to a report of an abandoned car when they were gunned down about 4.50am in Walsh Street, South Yarra, Australia on 12 October 1988. Four men, Victor Peirce, Trevor Pettingill, Anthony Leigh Farrell and Peter David McEvoy, were charged with murder and later acquitted by a jury in the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Melbourne Observatory
Melbourne Observatory was founded in 1862 to serve as a scientific research institution for the rapidly growing city of Melbourne, the capital of the colony of Victoria. The site chosen was a gentle hill adjacent to the Royal Botanic Gardens.
Olympic Park Stadium
Olympic Park Stadium was a multi-purpose outdoor stadium located on Olympic Boulevard in inner Melbourne. The stadium was built as an athletics training venue for the 1956 Olympics, a short distance from the MCG, which served as the Olympic Stadium. The stadium most recently played host to athletics, having previously been the home of rugby league side, Melbourne Storm and the A-League team, Melbourne Victory.

Morell Bridge
The Morell Bridge is a bridge over the Yarra River in South Yarra, Melbourne, Australia. Completed in 1899 by John Monash and J. T. N. Anderson, it is notable for being the first bridge in Victoria to be built using reinforced concrete. It features decorations on the three arch spans, including large dragon motifs and ornamental Victorian lights. The gutters on the bridge are cobbled bluestone, with a single lane bitumen strip running down the middle.

Great Melbourne Telescope
The Great Melbourne Telescope was built by Thomas Grubb in Dublin, Ireland in 1868, and installed at the Melbourne Observatory in Melbourne, Australia in 1869. The telescope had a 48-inch-diameter speculum primary mirror, and was mounted on an equatorial mounting. The design had been approved by a committee of leading British astronomers and scientists. At the time of commissioning it was the second largest telescope operating in the world, after Lord Rosse’s 6 foot reflector at Birr, Ireland.
Motordrome (Melbourne)
The Motordrome, also known as the Olympic Park Speedway or the Melbourne Speedway, was a former speedway and Australian rules football ground located on the site of Olympic Park in Melbourne, Victoria. The ground was primarily a speedway track, but also hosted football matches, including hosting three VFA Grand Finals in 1925, 1926 and 1927, and three of Melbourne Football Club's home games between Rounds 2 and 6 in the 1932 VFL season when the MCG was unavailable due to re-surfacing.
Hoddle Bridge
The Hoddle Bridge is a bridge over the Yarra River between Richmond and South Yarra, Melbourne, Australia. It carries Punt Road across the Yarra. It is a four-lane road bridge with narrow footpaths on either side. It is of continuous reinforced/ concrete T-beam construction with five segmental arched spans, supported on transverse piers, and linked by concrete cross-beams. The bridge, named after Robert Hoddle, replaced an earlier footbridge, which in turn had replaced a punt service.

Walsh Street House
The Walsh Street House, also known as the Boyd House II, is a family home in Walsh Street, South Yarra, Victoria, Melbourne, Australia, designed by Robin Boyd in 1958, which the Boyds moved into a year later. Robin Boyd was known not only as an architect but also an architectural writer, educator and commentator. Born in 1919, he came from a creative family background of sculptors, painters and architects. He and his wife Patricia occupied the South Yarra home with their two daughters.
