Medina County is a county located in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 172,332, which is an increase of 14.1% from 151,095 in 2000. The 2004 projected population was estimated at 165,370. Its county seat is Medina, and it is named for Medina in Saudi Arabia, though the "I" in it is pronounced instead to rhyme with "dine". Medina County is part of the Cleveland–Elyria–Mentor Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Westfield Center, Ohio
Westfield Center is a village in Medina County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,115 at the 2010 census. It was founded in 1826. When it was given a Post Office, the name "Le Roy" was assigned. The two names were used interchangeably until it was incorporated in 1914 as Le Roy, Ohio. In the early 1970s, the name was changed back to Westfield Center. Despite the community's small size, it is the home of Westfield Insurance, the largest employer in Medina County.

Wadsworth Institute
Wadsworth Institute was a Mennonite seminary in Wadsworth, Ohio, from 1868 to 1878. Officially named Christian Educational Institution of the Mennonite Denomination, it accepted men aged 18 to 35 for a three-year program centering around biblical studies and other topics relevant to training pastors and mission workers. Starting in 1876, women were accepted as day students. Classes were primarily taught in German and some in English.
