Reeperbahn
The Reeperbahn is a street in Hamburg's St. Pauli district, one of the two centres of Hamburg's nightlife and also the city's red-light district. In German it is also sometimes described as die sündige Meile (the sinful mile).

Star-Club
The Star-Club was a music club in Hamburg, Germany that opened Friday 13 April 1962 and was initially operated by Manfred Weissleder and Horst Fascher. In the 1960s, many of the giants of rock music played at the club. The club closed on 31 December 1969 and the building it occupied was destroyed by a fire in 1987. The Millerntor-Stadion is a multi-purpose stadium in Hamburg St. Pauli, Germany. It is mainly used for football matches and is the home stadium of FC St. Pauli. It is on the Heiligengeistfeld, near the Reeperbahn, the red light district of Hamburg. The stadium had a capacity of 32,000 when it was built in 1961.

Gustav Giemsa (November 20, 1867 – June 10, 1948) was a German chemist and bacteriologist who was a native of Medar-Blechhammer. He is remembered for creating a dye solution commonly known as "Giemsa stain". This dye is used for the histopathological diagnosis of malaria and parasites such as Plasmodium, Trypanosoma, and Chlamydia. Giemsa studied pharmacy and mineralogy at the University of Leipzig, and chemistry and bacteriology at the University of Berlin.

Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine; (Bernhard-Nocht-Institut für Tropenmedizin) (BNI) is a medical institution based in Hamburg, Germany which is dedicated to research, treatment, training and therapy of tropical and infectious diseases. St. Pauli Landing Stages
The St. Pauli Landing Stages (German: St. Pauli Landungsbrücken), also referred to as the St. Pauli Landing Bridges and St. Pauli Piers, part of the Hamburg Harbour, are in the quarter St. Pauli of Hamburg, Germany, between the lower harbour and the Fischmarkt (Fish Market) directly on the Elbe River. The Landungsbrücken today are a major tourist attraction and a central transportation hub, with S-Bahn, U-Bahn and boat stations.

Beatles-Platz
The Beatles-Platz is a plaza in the St. Pauli quarter in Hamburg, Germany, at the crossroads of Reeperbahn and Große Freiheit. It is circular, with a diameter of 29 metres and paved black to make it look like a vinyl record. Surrounding the place are five statues, representing The Beatles: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Stuart Sutcliffe, George Harrison, and a hybrid of drummers Pete Best and Ringo Starr each of whom played with The Beatles at times during their Hamburg engagements.
Grünspan Club
The Grünspan Club is a discotheque located in Hamburg, Germany. It was founded in 1968 as a music club and event centre, in a former movie theatre situated in Grosse Freiheit Road, next to the Reeperbahn. The discotheque became known for concerts and progressive rock. The building, situated at a corner, seats 800. Its exterior, painted by Hamburg artists Dieter Glasmacher and Werner Nöfer, was restored in 1995 when the building was overhauled.

The Reeperbahn station on the City S-Bahn line of the Hamburg S-Bahn in Germany is located at the eastern end of the Reeperbahn street. It is part of the tunnel from the Hamburg main station in the quarter St. Georg to Hamburg-Altona railway station, and opened on 21 April 1979.
Heiligengeistfeld
Heiligengeistfeld (lit. field of the Holy Spirit) is an area of Hamburg in the St. Pauli quarter. Since 1893 the funfair Hamburger DOM is held here. In times where this area is not used for exhibitions, circuses or the DOM it is a car park. A building from German Telekom, a swimming complex, Millerntor-Stadion, a school, a patrol station, a defensive tower (Flakturm IV) and a supermarket are fixed structures on the field.

The Federal Bureau for Maritime Casualty Investigation (German: Bundesstelle für Seeunfalluntersuchung, BSU) is the German agency for investigating maritime accidents and incidents. It is subordinate to the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development. Its head office is in Hamburg. The office also investigates marine environmental-related incidents, such as incidents of oceanic pollution or incidents which cause a risk of pollution.
