HMAS Otama
HMAS Otama (SS 72/SSG 72) was an Oberon class submarine of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). Built in Scotland, the submarine was commissioned into the RAN in 1978; the last of the class to enter service. Otama remained in service until late 2000, when she was decommissioned and sold to a Victorian community group, who planned to preserve the submarine as a museum ship.

HMAS Cerberus is the Royal Australian Navy's primary training establishment, located adjacent to Crib Point on the Mornington Peninsula, south of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is also an official bounded locality of the Shire of Mornington Peninsula. At the 2011 census, HMAS Cerberus had a population of 1,085.

Moorooduc is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the Shire of Mornington Peninsula. The Moorooduc Highway runs through the locality, being the main route between Melbourne and the Peninsula. Moorooduc Post Office opened on 27 August 1890 and closed in 1980. A study is currently being undertaken for a bypass to be constructed between EastLink at Seaford linking the Mornington Peninsula Freeway south of Moorooduc.

Devilbend Natural Features Reserve
Devilbend Natural Features Reserve is a 1,057 ha park on the Mornington Peninsula 55 km south-east of Melbourne, Australia, between Hastings and Mount Martha in the traditional country of the Bunurong people. It contains two decommissioned water-supply reservoirs, Devilbend and Bittern, which were the original reason the land now in the park was not developed and was protected from general public access.
Balnarring railway station
Balnarring railway station was located on the Red Hill railway line. The line was opened in 1921 and was one of the more short-lived branch lines on the Victorian Railways closing in 1953 along with a few other smaller branch lines in the railways system. Following official closure of the line, trains (railmotors) continued to run as far as Balnarring to cater for the Balnarring picnic races, Lord Somers camp and a Railway Historical Society tour in 1956.
