City of Frankston
The City of Frankston is a local government area in Victoria, Australia in the southern suburbs of Melbourne. It has an area of 131 square kilometres and has a estimated population of 128,576 people. Despite its similar area and name, the City of Frankston is a different entity to the former City of Frankston which existed from 1966 until 1994, which was a continuation of the former Shire of Frankston and was abolished under the Kennett local government reforms.

Patterson River
The Patterson River is a partly man-made waterway located approximately 35 km south-east of Melbourne, Australia in Patterson Lakes, Carrum and Bonbeach. As one of the few designated safe harbours on the city side of the bay, the Patterson River is the most popular boating gateway to Port Phillip Bay. The thriving canal system of the Patterson Lakes residential area and the wet and dry storage at the Patterson Lakes Marina combine with four public boat ramps to make an extremely busy waterway.

Frankston Arts Centre
The Frankston Arts Centre is a landmark theatre and art gallery in the outer Melbourne locality of Frankston in Australia. The Carrum Carrum Swamp encompassed 52 square kilometres, and with a catchment area of 735 square kilometres it had four outlets to the Port Phillip Bay, which includes Kannanook Creek/Eel Race Drain, Patterson River and Mordialloc Creek Explorer William Hovell discovered "a very extensive fresh water marsh (from 12 to 15 miles long and 11/2 to 6 broad, and only separated from Port Phillip by a narrow ridge or bank of sand not more than from two hundred to three hundred yards wide.
