The bridge was built between 1894 and 1896 to the plans of János Feketeházy.
Elisabeth Bridge (Budapest)
Elisabeth Bridge is the third newest bridge of Budapest, Hungary, connecting Buda and Pest across the River Danube. The bridge is situated at the narrowest part of the Danube in the Budapest area, spanning only 290 m. It is named after Elisabeth of Bavaria, a popular queen and empress of Austria-Hungary, who was assassinated in 1898. Today, her large bronze statue sits by the bridge's Buda side connection in the middle of a small garden.
Tabán
Tabán usually refers to an area within the 1st district of Budapest, the capital of Hungary. It lies on the Buda (i.e. Western) side of the Danube, to the south of György Dózsa Square, on the northern side of Elisabeth Bridge and to the east of Naphegy. Outside of Budapest, several other Hungarian cities and towns also have districts called Tabán.
Gellért Hill
Gellért Hill is a 235 m high hill overlooking the Danube in Budapest, Hungary. It is part of the 1st and 11th Districts. Gellért Hill was named after Saint Gerard who was thrown to death from the hill. The famous Hotel Gellért and the Gellért Baths can be found in Gellért Square at the foot of the hill, next to Liberty Bridge. The Gellért Hill Cave is located within the hill, facing toward Hotel Gellért and the Danube River.
Ferenciek tere
Ferenciek tere is a square and junction in Budapest. In addition to being the site of a station on the M3 (North-South) line of the Budapest Metro, it is an important public transport junction for the BKV bus line number 7, which connects Pest and southern Buda. The place is right in the middle of the city. The fashionable shopping avenue Váci utca opens from there.
Rudas Baths
Rudas Bath or Rudas fürdő is a thermal and medicinal bath in Budapest, Hungary. It was first built in 1550, during the time of Ottoman rule. To date, it retains many of the key elements of a Turkish bath, exemplified by its Turkish dome and octagonal pool. It is located at Döbrentei tér 9 on the Buda side of Erzsébet Bridge. The bath has six therapy pools and one swimming pool where the temperature is in between 16-42C.
Hotel Gellért
Hotel Gellért is a famous, first class four star hotel in Budapest, Hungary. The hotel was erected on the right bank of the river Danube between 1916 and 1918 in the Art Nouveau style with some biomorphic elements, at the foot of Gellért Hill, next to Szabadság Bridge. The four star Danubius Hotel Gellért, onetime Saint Gellért Hotel and Spa, was renovated in 1962 and in 1973. The spa, swimming pool and plaza built to the hotel is one of the most beautiful spas in Budapest.
Móricz Zsigmond körtér
Móricz Zsigmond körtér is a square in Budapest, Hungary. Located in Újbuda, or Budapest's 11th District at the convergence of some of Budapest's major boulevards Bela Bartok ut and Villanyi ut, the square in close proximity to the River Danube. Named after famous Hungarian writer Zsigmond Móricz in 1945, it remains a prominent location within the city, and was a scene of fierce fighting in the 1956 Hungarian Revolution.

Great Market Hall (Budapest)
The Great Market Hall or Central Market Hall, on Fővám Tér in the 9th district, is the largest indoor market in Budapest. It was designed and built by Samu Pecz around 1896. The market offers a huge variety of stalls on three floors. A distinctive architectural feature is the roof which was restored to have colorful Zsolnay tiling. Most of the stalls on the ground floor offer produce, meats, pastries, candies, spices, and spirits such as paprika, tokaji, túró rudi, and caviar.
Gellért Hill Cave
The Gellért Hill Cave is part of a network of caves within Gellért Hill in Budapest, Hungary. The cave is also referred to as "Saint Ivan's Cave" (Szent Iván-barlang), regarding a hermit who lived there and is believed to have used the natural thermal water of a muddy lake next to the cave to heal the sick. It is likely that this same water fed the pools of the old Sáros fürdő ("Muddy Baths"), now called Gellért Baths.

Ferenciek tere (Budapest Metro)
Ferenciek tere is a station on the M3 (North-South) line of the Budapest Metro located under the eponymous square in District V. The station's name was Felszabadulás tér before 1990.

Újbuda
Újbuda (lit. New Buda) is the 11th district of Budapest (Hungarian: Budapest XI. kerület), Hungary. It is the most populous district of Budapest with 137,426 inhabitants (2008). Until the 1890s Újbuda's present territory was a field south to the historical town of Buda. The construction of a new residential area started in the 1900s, the present district was formed in 1930. From 1880 to 1980 Újbuda's population increased from 1180 to 178,960.
Lake Feneketlen
Lake Feneketlen (Feneketlen-tó, "Bottomless Lake") is a lake in the 11th district of Budapest, Hungary. The lake was formed in 1877, when clay was removed from the site to supply a brick factory that was situated at nearby Kosztolányi Dezső tér. The lake's water quality in the 1980s began to deteriorate, until a water circulation device was built. The lake today is a popular urban place for fishing.
Rácz Thermal Bath
The Rácz Thermal Bath, located in Budapest, Hungary, is an 8000 sqm bath and is renowned for its Turkish Bath dating back to the 16th century and also its Imperial pools and Shower Corridor built in the age of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. The bath is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage and is now part of the newly built complex of the Racz Hotel & Thermal Spa.
