Pest, Hungary
Pest is the eastern, mostly flat part of Budapest, Hungary, comprising about two thirds of the city's territory. It is separated from Buda, the other part of Budapest, by the Danube River. Among its most notable parts are the Inner City, including the Hungarian Parliament, Heroes' Square and Andrássy Avenue. In colloquial Hungarian, "Pest" is often used for the whole capital of Budapest.

City Park (Budapest)
Városliget (German: Stadtwäldchen; literally City Park) is a public park (302 acres or 1.2 km²; a rectangle 0.9-mile by 0.6-mile, or 1.4 km × 900 m) in Budapest, Hungary close to the city centre. It is located in District XIV of Budapest. Its main entrance is Heroes' Square (Hősök tere), one of Hungary's World Heritage sites.
Kerepesi Cemetery

Timewheel
The Timewheel is one of the world's largest hourglasses, situated in Budapest, Hungary next to City Park, right of Heroes' Square and behind the Palace of Art (Műcsarnok). It is made of granite, steel, and glass, and weighs 60 tons. The "sand" flows from the upper to the lower glass chamber for one year. The sand runs out on New Year's Eve and the Timewheel is then turned 180 degrees so the flow of the sand can resume for the next year.
Vajdahunyad Castle
For the castle in present-day Hunedoara, Romania, see Hunyad Castle. Vajdahunyad Castle is a castle in the City Park of Budapest, Hungary. It was built between 1896 and 1908 as part of the Millennial Exhibition which celebrated the 1000 years of Hungary since the Hungarian Conquest of the Carpathian Basin in 895. The castle was designed by Ignác Alpár to feature copies of several landmark buildings from different parts the Kingdom of Hungary, especially the Hunyad Castle in Transylvania.

Budapest Keleti railway station
Budapest Keleti railway station (Budapest Keleti pályaudvar) is the main international and inter-city railway terminal in Budapest, Hungary. It lies at the end of Rákóczi Avenue and at the beginning of Kerepesi Avenue and Thököly Avenue. The terminal is named after the eastern (keleti) direction towards Transylvania and the Balkans. The building was constructed in eclectic style between 1881 and 1884 and was one of the most modern railway stations of Europe in that time.
Puskás Ferenc Stadion (Budapest Metro)
Puskás Ferenc Stadion is a station of the M2 (East-West) line of the Budapest Metro. Stadium Puskás Ferenc is located here, as well as the Budapest Sports Arena. It was first opened in 1970, and named Népstadion until 1 January 2004. Between 2004 and 2011 the station's name was Stadionok (Stadiums). It is located in the 14th district of Budapest.
Ferenc Puskás Stadium
Ferenc Puskás Stadium (Hungarian: Puskás Ferenc Stadion) is a multi-purpose stadium in Budapest, Hungary. It is situated on the Pest side of the capital between the Stadionok and the Keleti Palyaudvar metro stations. It is currently used mainly for football matches. The stadium is going to be demolished sometime in 2012 and replaced by the New Puskás Ferenc Stadium. The stadium, which is all-seater, has a capacity of 69,120, though its original capacity exceeded 100,000.

Zugló is the official name of the 14th district of Budapest, the capital of Hungary. It is a large and mixed neighborhood, with communist era style highrise apartments sprinkled between decently kept one house residential streets. Városliget, the City Park is located at the western part of the district.
Geological Museum (Budapest)
The Geological Museum of Budapest is the main museum of geology in Hungary. It is located on the Stefánia utca in the western part of Pest. The building was originally the home of the Hungarian Geological Society, which was established in 1869. The building was designed by Ödön Lechner in 1896. It still houses the Geological Institute of Hungary.
Transport Museum of Budapest
The Közlekedési Múzeum or Transport Museum of Budapest is one of Europe’s oldest transportation collections. It is a must for railway connoisseurs and amateurs. This museum has a unique collection of locomotives and wagons on a 1:5 scale. This means that a locomotive of, for example, 10 m length is reproduced with all details in a 2 m length model. The models represent a wide range of railway technology.
Széchenyi fürdő (Budapest Metro)
Széchenyi fürdő is a station of the yellow M1 (Millennium Underground) line of the Budapest Metro, located below the Széchenyi Medicinal Bath. It was an overground station from 1896 until 1973, when an underground station was built. Another station, Állatkert, existed between Széchenyi fürdő and Hősök tere from 1896 to 1973.
Mexikói út (Budapest Metro)
Mexikói út is the northern terminus of the yellow M1 (Millennium Underground) line of the Budapest Metro. Located in the Zugló district of Pest, the station was opened in 1973 when the line was extended from the original terminus at Városliget (City Park). Kincsem Park
Kincsem Park is a major horse racing venue in Budapest, Hungary. The 84-hectare park, named after the race horse Kincsem, can accommodate thoroughbred racing and harness racing, and it can also be configured as a concert venue. Although the track experienced a drop in attendance in recent years, it has enjoyed a new popularity among racing fans due to the success of Hungarian racehorse Overdose.

The Hungarian Railway Museum is a railway museum located in Budapest, Hungary at a railway station of the Hungarian State Railways (MÁV). The museum covers more than 70,000 square meters and it features over one hundred exhibits, including railway vehicles and equipment.
Budapest Sportcsarnok
Budapest Sportcsarnok was an indoor arena in Budapest, Hungary. It was primarily used for basketball, figure skating, volleyball and other indoor sporting events until it burned down on December 15, 1999. The arena had a seating capacity for 12,500 spectators and opened on 1982. While it was opened it hosted the 1983 European Athletics Indoor Championships, 1986 basketball European Champions cup final in which Cibona Zagreb defeated Žalgiris Kaunas 94-82.
