Mainau
is an island in Lake Constance. It is maintained as a garden island and a model of excellent environmental practices. Administratively, the island has been a part of Konstanz since December 1, 1971, when the municipality of Litzelstetten, of which Mainau was part, was incorporated into Konstanz. Mainau is still part of Litzelstetten, now one of 15 wards (administrative subdivisions) of Konstanz.
Reichenau Island
Reichenau Island lies in Lake Constance in southern Germany, at approximately {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:47|42|N|9|4|E|region:DE|| |primary |name= }}. It lies between Gnadensee and Untersee, two parts of Lake Constance, almost due west of the city of Konstanz. The island is connected to the mainland by a causeway that was completed in 1838.
University of Konstanz
The University of Konstanz is a university in the city of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It was founded in 1966, and the main campus on the Gießberg was opened in 1972. The University is situated on the shore of Lake Constance just four kilometers from the Swiss border. As one of eleven German Excellence Universities, University of Konstanz is consistently ranked among the global top 200 by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings (194th as of 2011).

Triboltingen
Triboltingen is a small village in the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland, situated on the south shore of the Untersee part of Lake Constance. Since 1975, it is politically part of Ermatingen.
Battle of Stockach (1799)
The [First First] Battle of Stockach occurred on 25 March 1799, when French and Austrian armies fought for control of the geographically strategic Hegau region in present day Baden-Württemberg. In the broader military context, this battle constitutes a keystone in the first campaign in southwestern Germany during the Wars of the Second Coalition, part of the French Revolutionary Wars.
Bodanrück
The Bodanrück is the peninsula that divides Lake Constance into Überlinger See and Gnadensee, which is part of Untersee. The cities of Konstanz, Radolfzell and Allensbach are located there.
Arenenberg
Arenenberg is an estate with a small chateau, Schloss Arenenberg, in the municipality of Salenstein at the shore of Lake Constance in Thurgau, Switzerland that is famous as the final domicile of Hortense de Beauharnais. Today it houses the Napoleonmuseum. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance.
Linzgau
Linzgau is a region in southern Germany in the state of Baden-Württemberg north of Lake Constance and south of the Danube valley. It is bounded by Lake Constance on the south, the Hegau on the west, the Danube valley on the north, and the Schussen River on the east. Botanical Garden of the University of Konstanz
The Botanischer Garten der Universität Konstanz (1.5 hectares) is a botanical garden maintained by the University of Konstanz. It is located about 250 meters northwest of the campus north parking lot in Konstanz, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and open weekdays without charge. The garden was begun in 1972, with its first greenhouses completed in 1982. Additional greenhouses were added in 1993, and in 1997 its outdoor garden was redesigned and replanted.

Seerhein
The Seerhein ("Lake Rhine") is a river about four kilometres long, in the basin of Lake Constance. It is the outflow of the Upper Lake Constance and the main tributary of the Lower Lake Constance. The water level of the lower lake is about 30 cm below the level of the Upper Lake. It is considered part of the Rhine, which flows into Lake Constance as the Alpine Rhine and flows out of the Lake as the High Rhine. The Seerhein arose after the last Ice Age (the Würm glaciation, about 9650 BCE).
Untersee (Lake Constance)
The Untersee (German for Lower Lake) is the smaller of the two lakes that together form Lake Constance and forms part of the boundary between Switzerland and Germany.
Paradies (Constance)
Paradies is a former village, now a quarter of Konstanz, Germany. The district is located west of the Old Town on the southern shore of the Seerhein; with an area of about 63.2 hectare (632,034 m, to be exact) and 6176 inhabitants (2007 census). In the Late Middle Ages, it was a fishing and farming village called Eggehusen.
Triboldingerbohl
Triboldingerbohl, also known as Triboltingen or großes Bohl or Langenrain, is the fourth largest island of Lake Constance, with an area of 0.13557 km². It is 780 meters long and up to 230 meters wide. It is located in the easternmost part of the Untersee (Lake Constance), near the point where the Seerhein flows into the lake. This part of the lake is also known as the Rheinsee.
Ablach (Danube)
The Ablach is a right tributary of the Danube. It rises on the European Watershed, which is only a hint in this area, from the Mindersdorfer Aach in the municipality of Hohenfels in the Landkreis of Konstanz. It is about 36 kilometers long, or, when including the headwaters in the Hohenfels area, 38 km.
