Bant's Carn
Bant's Carn is a Scillonian entrance grave on the island of St Mary's in the Isles of Scilly. A military battery built in 1905 also stands nearby. The tomb measures around 8 metres in diameter and stands on a low platform 12 metres across. The entrance is 4.5 metres long and 1 metre high, with no roof. It is separated from the burial chamber by a jamb. The chamber itself measures around 5 metres in length and 1.5 metres in width and height, with four large capstones serving as a roof.

Star Castle is a fortress on St Mary's, Isles of Scilly, built in 1593 by Robert Adams, Surveyor of the Royal Works (d.1595) and Francis Godolphin, Captain of the Scilly Isles, during the "Spanish invasion scare."
Thomas W. Lawson (ship)
The Thomas W. Lawson was a seven-masted, steel-hulled schooner originally planned for the Pacific trade, but then used primarily to haul coal and oil along the East Coast of the United States. Built in 1902, the ship holds the distinction of being the largest schooner and the largest pure sailing vessel (without an auxiliary engine) ever built. Larger sailing vessels with auxiliary engines for propulsion were the French France II (1911) and German R. C.
