Geography of Liechtenstein
The principality of Liechtenstein encompasses most of the right (eastern) half of the Rhine Valley, wedged between Austria and Switzerland.
Rheinpark Stadion
The Rheinpark Stadion in Vaduz is the national stadium of Liechtenstein. It plays host to the home matches of the Liechtenstein national football team, and is also the home of Liechtenstein's top football club, FC Vaduz. The stadium was officially opened on 31 July 1998 with a match between FC Vaduz, the Liechtenstein Cup holders at the time, and 1. FC Kaiserslautern, the then Bundesliga champions. 1. FC Kaiserslautern won the match 8-0.
Liechtensteinisches Gymnasium
The Liechtensteinisches Gymnasium (English: Liechtenstein Secondary School) is a secondary school located in Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein. It was founded in 1937 as "Collegium Marianum" by the Maristen-Schulbrüder as a private school. Since 1981, the Liechtensteinisches Gymnasium has been public school run by the state of Liechtenstein. The number of pupils has been increasing since the mid-1980s, especially since girls were admitted in the mid 1960s, and is now over 700.
Balzers
Balzers is a village and community located in southern Liechtenstein. As of the 2005 census, the community has a total population of 4,420. The main part of the village is situated along the east bank of the Rhine.
Trübbach
Trübbach is a village in the municipality of Wartau in the Wahlkreis (constituency) of Werdenberg in the canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland. It's on the western bank of the Rhine River, near the Liechtenstein border, which leads to Balzers. Nearby towns include Sargans and Sevelen. It is perhaps best known as the residence of former tennis player Martina Hingis.
Vaduz Castle
Vaduz Castle is the palace and official residence of the Prince of Liechtenstein. The castle gave its name to the town of Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein, which it overlooks from an adjacent hilltop.
Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein
The Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein (Liechtenstein Museum of Fine Arts) is the state museum of modern and contemporary art in Vaduz. The building by the Swiss architects Meinrad Morger, Heinrich Degelo and Christian Kerez was completed in November 2000. The museum collection of international modern and contemporary art is also the national art collection of the Principality of Liechtenstein.
St. Luzisteig Pass
St. Luzisteig Pass (el. 713 m. ) is a mountain pass in the Alps between the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. It connects Maienfeld in Graubünden and Balzers in Liechtenstein. Near the pass is a fortification that dates from the 18th century and is still used as a caserne by the Swiss Army. The pass road has a maximum grade of 12 percent.
Tamina
The Tamina River in Switzerland originates on the flanks of Piz Sardona in the Glarus Alps and flows eastwards and northwards to finally merge with the Alpine Rhine after about 18 km total length. Along its way it flows into the reservoir Lake Gigerwald in the Calfeisen valley. At Vättis it is joined by the Gorbsbach, and flows northeast into the Mapraggsee. The lower section, heading northwards through Bad Pfäfers, forms a deep and narrow gorge called the Taminaschlucht.

Vaduz Cathedral
Vaduz Cathedral, or Cathedral of St. Florin, is a neo-Gothic church in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, and the center of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vaduz. Originally a parish church, it has held the status of cathedral since 1997. It was built in 1874 by Friedrich von Schmidt on the site of earlier medieval foundations. Its patron saint is Florinus of Remüs (Florin), a 9th century saint of the Vinschgau Valley.

Gutenberg Castle
Gutenberg Castle is a preserved castle in the town of Balzers, Liechtenstein, the centre of the municipality of Balzers. Gutenberg is one of the five castles of the principality and one of two that have survived preserved until the present day. Unlike Vaduz Castle in Vaduz, Gutenberg Castle doesn't serve as a residence of the princely family of Liechtenstein and is open to the general public as a museum.
